  • Lower your stick heights on the non-accented , and lower your stick heights on your sticks in, great playing , very clean. Keep it up!

  • Your rolls are nice and full. Good job!

  • Clean and on tempo. Nice trick in the last couple seconds too...it was legit

  • Heights, bro.

  • @jgross547 Dude I know it's if from like 3 years ago I've learned alot since then

  • @DRxSnare Sorry for trollin'. I just realized what a jerk I sounded like. sorry

  • I don't know what it is, but man that's super clean! keep it up, that was solid!

  • on your left had the stick needs to come off of ur cuticle when you are playing heights over 3in and on diddles

  • Dude you are really good. and this isn't a noob's opinion. just watch you technique and your solid.

  • where you playing?

Im playing in Youth corps Jong Jubal

  • @svensnare1 well right now im playing on an independent A indoor line but i play snare at my college and hopefully marching core somewhere we shall see what happens

  • awsome!

  • I love this pad. do you have the sheet music for this?

  • You're snare's too low

  • Comment removed

  • dude how old are you?

  • @Lp3DMAnime i was 17 in the video i believe or maybe 16

  • im friends with the person who wrote the original spider cadence :)

  • is that paradiddlediddles with back sticking?

  • Hey man! Good playing. Make sure when you're playing any variation of diddle/accent patterns, that you don't triplet-ize them. Especially the 3rd measure, 4th beat. Those 16th notes and the diddles get heavily swung; unless it's written like that, make sure to give each note its own rhythmic value.

  • Watch your left shoulder at times it drops a lot, like on some accents.

  • I just bought one of those pads. And where can i get the music for this. i have only been drumming for 2 years and no one has helped me, so im trying get my reading level up

  • where can i get sheet music for this?

  • I love spider!! At the end of the snare solo, we would always do hertas.

  • My highschool plays this cadence!!

  • Dont lock your wrist up

  • Move the pad up a bit so your right arm will be higher like ARZiehm said. Your taps are pretty high. But other than that, it sounds pretty clean, strokes are even too. Just lower your taps and move your right arm out more along with the drum upwards and you're good. =D

  • horrible, disgusting heights. Work on your basics man. I've watched your new vids and no progress. This is why you start with basics

  • @binskiboi i realize i need to improve this man and i havent posted one in a while but when i do there will be a dramatic change because ive been working a lot with some great instructors!

  • hey man where did get music for this i really would like to play this

  • hey does this pad get marks and streaks from the sticks?

  • Depends like right after u might clean it, it will make Minor marks but can easy go away by just like wipeing it but one thing for a facts is that its a dust magnet!!!

  • im n ot sure, but it looks like you change your stick height ALOT, but idk this song very well so i wouldnt know

  • acan u get pad hands from this pad?

  • I think you can get pad hands from any pad, but this pad is probably as close to the real thing as you can get, and pad hands with this will not be as bad as with other pads.

  • naw dude it has a rubber rim

  • um no it doesn't. it's made of hard plastic

  • do you think your taps are high enough lol there pretty high just work on keeping the stick down

  • yea its an older video lol im alot better now lol just made center snare for the indoor line i tried out for and im pumped check out my lion king vid

  • @DRxSnare checked it out, looked like near no improvement

  • @DRxSnare This is almost identical to one of my high school drumline's cadences!

i have a video of me playing it on my page! check it out.

  • Nice chops, just fierce it up some, get that militant 'buff drummer' look.

  • push your elbows out a bit more

  • Cool man! This seems about at my skill level, I would like the music as well if you could.

  • That is the best drum pad ever.

  • sweet do you have music for this

  • nice dude my school played spider we just added more diddles an stuff though

  • Nice!

  • dude yyour amazing u can do a little better on your wrrist rootation

  • Very good playing!

  • thanks!

  • I can see you mouthing the counts in the rests. It's fine and all, but dutting sounds cooler.

  • you use to much arm and don't fidget when you put your sticks in and don't rush the sticks in either it supposed to be on the next downbeat not the up beat

  • few things:

your angle is good but your arms are too low, thus too close to your body.

your sticks in is too high, your left pinky should almost touch the rim

  • the stand that i use to put my pad on it WAY too short so it hard to keep them low like if you can see my feel are really far apart just to get down that low i need to get some new equipment lol and my next recording will be on a real snare so its all good

  • ya your playing is fine, just some minor technichal things.

  • and they WILL be fixed thank you for all your help anything else i need to fix im trying to get better her =)

  • ya arent we all?

if you wanna get real technichal i think you can turn your right arm out just a bit, it creates a consistent look to the left hand, but its hard to think about and will definitely feel wierd at first.

even im trying to work on that now lmao.

my friend from bd told me that, so its legit lol

  • yea i see what your saying and ill work on it

  • its really subtle tho. dont go too far and youll beat the shit out of your wrist. just the right amount of rotation for the angle. no further

  • ok, thanks, i'll invest :)

  • alright koo =)

  • what kinda of sticks are you using. also, I was thinking of getting this pad and my main question is does this truly feel like your playing on a kevlar drum head with the same amount of bounce you get from a kevlar drum head?

  • the are pro mark system blues and you should get it it is the best pad that i have played on by far and it does have the same feel as a real snare drum. it makes me want to practice more lol

  • good job kevin! the only thing your missing is my bass solo in the beginning

  • hahaha
