Back when I first started school, the college was about to put some old Wurlitzers identical to that one in the dumpster. They said anyone could take one home if they wanted. So I took one home and it sat in my garage for about 5 years. Not knowing what I had, I gave it to a friend. I'm kicking myself for that move bigtime.

man this wurlitzer sounds awesome. did you use any eq or compressor?

@EggWS94 - yes, I put a Hi Pass on it, to cut out some of the rumble. and there's a TON of compression. i go kinda nuts with compressors, but yes, the compressor on this has a quick attack, quick release, very low threshold, and a ton of gain. I think i also put a stereo short delay on it, so one of the channels is 23 ms delayed from the other. that makes it a little wider and directional, instead of sounding like it's in the center.

@jackcontemusic don't matter what you used...it's incredible and I can't help but feel alot of memories from the old days sitting in front of that floor model Electrohome TV...which has even a better picture from what we see still in alot of tv's...technology is catching up but the classics, like this sound is a great almost euphoric moment of what I had growing up and is always a good feeling like you get from your grandma...a total warm feeling that nothing can compare to...well almost :D
