  • Sen. Whitmer is playing loose with the facts. She says Michigan residents, including Leslie Richter, are "precluded from having any recovery at all." Yet MIRS reported two years ago that Richter and 1,400 1,400 other Michigan residents had settlements pending in a New Jersey court against Merck.
