@lindemikko I guess you aren't counting either "Mama, I'm Swollen" or "Happy Hallow"...because including "I Am Gemini" they've released 3 albums (plus the b-side/rarities album) since Ugly Organ. If you also include one-off singles they've done for charity albums and other compilations, and his solo album, Tim Kasher has sonically gotten softer through the years. It's exciting to me that this album has a more abrasive tone to it, while still being as strong lyrically as Kasher has ever been.

I loved Mama I'm Swollen. Actually, I liked it a LOT. I thought it was an outstanding album with very strong themes and amazing lyrics.

I think Cursive is going in a great direction.

the fact is, the ugly organ was a god damn masterpiece. twas LEGENDARY. without gretta cohn, they just can't create anything like that again. that doesn't mean the band without gretta has no value. tim's brain is the best. and cursive still makes some of the most kickass art rock out there
