Certes, on ne peut ignorer son talent mais dans "Mon Panthéon poétique" ne figurent que des poètes de génie.

@XicoFlavio Yves Montand was only born in Italy, his parents moved to France when Yves was 1-2y.o...not much of an italian...C. Miranda was only a few months old when she left for brazil....so originally nationality and " fraternity " hasnt much to do with the subject, no offence

@kunghassan he was born in Monsummano Terme (province of Pistoia, Tuscany) but his family had to escape in France because they're communists and the fascists gave fire at their besom factory. Yves hated forever Italy, he refused the honourary citizenship of Monsummano (municipality ruled by Italian Communist Party!) and never came back to Tuscany, except for few day in Florence to make a film

Salut Cannoir! Moi aussi, j'aimerai qu'au moins mes filles le connaissent... il faut une biopic. Je lui ai rendu visite a sa tombe au Pere Lachaise le printemps dernier. Meme quand je l'ai vu vieux dans son one-man show a San Francisco, il etait tres beau. Il chantait et dansait.

YES! Everything's better in French. My French boyfriend could speak great English, but I always insisted he speak French to me because he was sexier, more intelligent, more GORGEOUS in French! I saw Yves Montand live in San Francisco at his one-man show... He was fabulous.
