first screen in the video, you have a progress bar with a value in it, number. 408 (ram)

and in last screen, (0:17)

you have atwo VU meters, one for left audio channel and one for right audio channel, how did you make them in lcdsmartie?

umm can i ask u .... lpt port has only 8 data pins ..how can u control 16 in's for lcd with that ????

Data addressing, multiplexing and internal status keeping is your best friend.

lpt dont have only 8bits..... read spec. ehh

there isn't 16, theres 14.  you use the 8 data ports to send signals and the rest of the 6 pins for power, ground, and device recognition. the 15th and 16th pin are backlight, which is separate

multiplex or use a 4 bit mode on your LCD

Also, there is always the option of sending data to a microcontroler like Arduino over serial

yes, but i have a adapther because i dont have that on mye motherboard
