An insignificant few of atheists would claim that there is proof that god does not exist. Saying "there is no god but The God" is also an expression of atheism. Most Muslims do not understand this. By saying "there is no god but The God", the Muslims are admitting that they're atheists, except for 1 god. Atheists just go 1 god further than a Muslim. There are thousands of other possible gods that people worship. Muslims say those gods CANNOT exist. That is ignorance and arrogance. Not even Richard Dawkins would say that.

Atheists just lack a belief in God or gods. Muslims deny them.

Most theists believe one concept of god is "true", so by default they take an atheistic position with respect to all other god concepts. It is similar to the use of 'bald'. People are called 'bald' or 'balding', even when they still have more than half their, because of a bald spot.

The atheist already accepts La ilaaha or "there is no god..." so Zakir Naik says "half my job is already done." He just needs to be convinced of il lallah or "...but Allah." As for atheism, you're incorrect. Atheism is simply the lack of belief in God or gods. Many atheists are think God could exist but they lack knowledge and therefore lack the belief. Furthermore, splicing a statement in the Quran in ignorance is one thing, but to do it intentionally is a different matter. The Quran is clear in this matter: "There is no God, but Allah, and Muhammad PBUH is his messenger," is the full statement. Shabir says that his friend exists and the atheist must prove that his friend does not exist. That is a terrible claim. Islam claims that "There is no god but Allah." In that shahadah is not just extreme atheism but also absolute denial of all the millions of possible gods that humans worship. So, by Shabir's logic, Muslims must disprove all the gods that man has ever worshipped.

One more thing... Atheism is NOT the "belief that there is no God."

It is *not*, however, typical of what the reactionary and extremist mentality Muslims give. The nutjobs are a minority, but they are all the world pays attention to and some Muslims on YouTube take a page from their book by issuing anything from DMCAs to death threats. It is without doubt that the Qur'an dates to more than 14 centuries ago and it then already talks about how a foetus is being formed for example or evidence about black holes.

God do say in the Quran that He have send prophets to every nation, n these prophets call they people in worshiping of 1God. the word ISLAM mean submission to 1God.
