He's about as mobile as the original. The makers should have at least put a red light behind his visor. I think a highly mobile version, with flesh searing laser capability would be just the ticket for a home protection device

@CORNSiLK we got ours for around $30. From a catalog..."What on Earth" about 4 yrs ago. When TARGET came out with ROBOT from LIS bought two one still in the box and the other "hangs with GORT".

Wish I could find a reasonable priced ROBBIE though...have the xmas one but guess could say that is ROBBIE JR :)

@CORNSiLK Same lookin GORT with the wind-up key (same key) and just like u have to manually raise his visor! "Same color and everything, it has to be the same..."cannot remember what science fiction story (TV/movie) but it just came to me and thought it would be funny to include that last sentence in this comment section...
