I just love your cooking way. It is very inspirational and I try to learn more n more recipes as even I am fond of cooking and cooks really well (My hubby loves it..) Your videos make me feel homely as I am far away from my family in India n as you seem to be very friendly that makes alot difference to me personally. Just be what you are :)
Thank you so much for the recipes. They are just awesome. I have a doubt. At what temperature should we reheat the food in the oven and in which mode ( I mean Bake/Broil )?
Bake not broil and if you want to cook something, set up temp 450-500F if you just want to reheat or just cook little bit then at 350F...or lower...enjoy!
TheChakpak is definitely a TROLL. I dont think it is a food consultant. You should chuck it out ! Anyway this is a good idea to do a video on bulk cooking for a croud. Phew! Just watching it makes me tired. It would be useful to have a more detailed view of croud/bulk cooking with all details done like say a long video or as a series. Cheers
@Vanitavishram: Well said lady! This is what I call hypocrisy. You dont respect your own folks. Atleast from your name, you sound Indian. So, stop degrading your people first and then comment. What are you doing? This is an open channel and everyone has the right to talk about their feelings and no need to take it too personally. Come out of the fantasy world. The owner can delete the comment, I guess.. Well! you should have the guts to take + & - in life. Cant expect only good comments.
Coming to your recipe.... You eat noodles for navratri - with onion, etc.. Strange! If you are a Gujju, hmmmm... you claim a lot about vrat, navratri, etc...... And my dear, did you mean Custard (fruitsalad)?. If yes, it cannot be so... watery. Loads of scope to improve.
@SuperVeggieDelight So, you dont like criticism... I can see it. Mad lady, if you did not want to answer any questions, why did you even give this much explanation and reply? :-)) Well! There are lots of errors as in spellings, etc are concerned. So, if someone is trying to tell you, accept it. Its a website and public media. As a well wisher, I dont want people to laught at you or for that matter at "INDIANS" as such. Its upto you stupid woman.
Criticism actually helps me to improve and if you see my recent video, you would not have comment on this old video since I do agree that this video has lot of mistakes and was made all of a sudden. The thing I don't like you calling my other viewers, such as lalloo and other unnecessary words....so if you don't like this channel at all, just walk away and not talk such words about my other viewers...this channel is like everybody learns from each other and I am still learning...
@SuperVeggieDelight No need to take things too personally. Just take what pertains to you and not bother about comments on others. If thats the case, why are you on a public channel? Come out of it. Be realistic. I dont have anything against you. Just that I came across these videos and felt like giving a view point. If you dont like it, its ok. I dont care, neither does anybody. I would still say, dont have the 50-50 accent :-)
@SuperVeggieDelight Great! Well! for all those who think I am rude, etc..... I am not an Indian by birth or origin. I have passion for languages, I travel a lot and also am a food consultant. That might maze you. So, I would not be bull shitting....... I cam across your website, while I was google search for some other purpose. Maybe, people dont like it because, I speak my heart out and no double standards. If you dont like people viewing any negative remarks, there is a magic button "DELETE"
I think this is not the competiton against each other and I don't use magic button "DELETE" for any comment. So I recommend everybody to close this chapter and enjoy the way we have been doing so far. Once in a while we do get something bad and can't expect good always. So let's just enjoy this channel and not fight against each other. I try to move forward rather than going back. I know that these days many viewers enjoying my recent videos so I don't much worry about this video.
I think you need to mind your language....you are such a rude person to have on this nice channel. Don't spoil the learning environment like this. Rather just walk away!!!
Ha...ha..hot discussion going on here! Buddy...you are really a rude person saying "stupid" to this nice lady, "lallu to viewer"...what do you think of yourself? You know what you are the one actually MAD stucking onto her one bad video rather than enjoying her other great videos...if this is the public place, than you better use right words to show your dislike. And by the way, I usually use like/dislike and while going through her videos, I saw only 1 dislike for many of her
I saw another "DHRUV" comment on one of her videos. If you are the same Dhruv, in one of the videos you have also mentioned she is funny. That means you are just shying away. Cowardice is the word. You need to have the "........." to speak your mind :-) I hope you are sensible enough to fill up the blanks. You did not want me to use abusive words.... Well! WITH DUE RESPECTS TO THE REQUEST THE LADY HOSTING IT..... THIS WILL BE THE LAST COMMENT. I DON'T CARE WHO ELSE REPLIES.
@2005dhruv Good for you..... BTW, why are you so much hurt. SVD itself has been sensible enough. I must say, you are now being a pain in the ......... You really don't know the REAL RUDENESS, then. I just happened to bump into the video section. So, thats about it. Atleast, I dont have to learn the DIVERSITY aspect from you. I bet, even a person of Indian origin will not be able to speak as good as me. I was looking for young vegetarian cooking people for the BBC Show. You mind your business eh
You are doing wonderful job. Not to worry about some mad people. Only Indians know how to criticize other Indians...Instead of lifting up, they only know how to pull others down. Keep up the great work.
She doesn't claim about vrat at all, if you watch her other videos, she clearly says that she can't do fasting...By the Indian milk based fruit salad is made exactly the same way she showed. I think you need to learn diversity all around the world if you want to comment like this on public media so that people don't think you are fool...don't want to curse anymore!!
@2005dhruv Obviously. I am stuck to this video as the comments have to be "TO THE CONTEXT". I can't write my comments in reply on some other video. I think you have that much of simple common sense, to understand.
@ laluprasad: I hope you were sarcastic and not serious. Yuck! If you were serious.... then you are a real lalloo......... lalu. Forget about the accent. Her grammar itself is not good/correct. @hareramable: How do you know her AGE!!? Whats so great about it? Back home we have 14 or 15 year old girls and sometimes still younger, cooking for a bigger crowd.
Dude! What is your problem....try to give chance to everyone. She has improved a lot and you will find that in her recent videos. Why don't you just go away with your attitude? By the way, I haven't seen any 14-15 years old girls working this days...you talking about 60s or 70s or what? this days even 30 years lady don't know how to manage their kitchen very well....so
@canadiandesi420 You sound to be as your user name...... a jerk. Up North, even to this day, we have young girls doing it. Time for you to grow up and see the world as it is.
To end with a note: Don't misunderstand. Just that, its nice to be original. Don't fake and also have that artificial rolling of the tongue where not required. Thats why lot of people have no respect for Indians..... We behave very mean and have false prejudice.
Why do you have that false accent? Your initial videos don't seem to have it. Has that got something to do with your origin? Most of the gujjus I know have this kind of accent. Sounds like you are having modak in your mouth and speaking. For heaven's sake change it!
Hi, I would love to see your kids if possible in some video. I was also in canada since 2001 just moved to US couple years ago as I got married. I know how to cook most basic foods, but i still look at your videos to see if there is anything different i can do that will make my food taste better. Thankx
hai bhavna, i am waiting for your mango barfi. it was looking so good in video. i like your all recipes n i tried so many from your video. you are really a good cook.
Hi I know so many of you waiting for Mango burfi. I got behind due to my India trip for 2 months. I am still working on my old videos. Trying to finish but with kids, It's hard for me to work. But I promise to upload this video since it's already done and will post ASAP
I always like whole grain spaghetti instead of noodles. But you can use chinese noodles if available or find whole grain noodles for healthy option. They taste great as well.
Hi Bhavna!! i would like to appriciate ur effort u put in ur work....its so nice to see ,u doing all this for Navratri..u guys must be having alot of fun..Actually i m from Ahmedabad India..And i do miss Navratri like anything but i live in New York and here we dont have such nice group to celebrate this festival...bu ti m happy to see u enjoying...jai mataji..
I feel sorry for you. You will get group slowly and will enjoy like me. Yes, I got good community that always celebrate most festivals together...Thank you for sharing...
I can manage big meal cooking in my small kitchen. The fruit salad you talking about is Indian style fruit salad. It was concentrated mixture as I said in video that's why it was thick creamy. But later I added more milk to it.
We, indians, have festival Navratri. so you might not know about it..so keep watching and you will see fruit salad, mango burfi and carrot halwa soon
Yes, the foils are very useful when you making party, picnic, or any occassion food. I make many other things using just big foils which I will be sharing as I get opportunity ..I make Khichiya papdi lot, rice and many other dishes in the oven just using foils. It makes so much easier.
Thank you very much. In the begining I thought not to video this crowd cooking since I was not prepared for it. But then I thought, all my fans know what matters most...helpful tips...than mash in my kitchen...so finally did it...
