He used his album Self Explanatory to get $7,500 a show, and did 3 shows a weekend. He then used his buzz from the Cocaine Muzik mixtape series to get double that, and kept going until his buzz was big enough to demand $25,000 a show. The people you know can't buy a Lamborghini and live comfortable because they can't make 75-100K in one week.

Yo Gotti isn't big enough to just say on his twitter "Hey everyone I'm putting out a mixtape" and then sites grab it. He has to send it to them and pay them. That includes worldstar, thisis50, or whatever site it gets on. All of that is paid for. They all require use of a budget. He has no other business, no brand, no record sales and only makes show money, thats not enough

@censorthisbitch I went to the vma's with Frank Lucas in 2009 I've met way bigger people that have to pay for their promotion. Usually if they're signed to a label the record label does it and makes their money back with record sales, and perhaps the new 360 format they're using to compensate for decreasing overall sales. Yo Gotti is independent, theres no sponsor, no loan, no advance. He has to come out of pocket. I don't believe he makes 7,500 a show, but even if he did it wouldn't be enough

He came across one of the tracks I had sent him 1 1/2 years ago and his manager asked me to sell it to him for $1,000 upfront and negotiate the backend later, this is a guy who has way more publicity than Yo Gotti and is well known in rap music.
