  • we already have those controls on most new cars... you dont need a HUD telling you what button your finger is on when you can just look at the wheel that is right in FRONT of the dash... if you dont know what the button does on your own car i suggest learning what the button does or if you really need to be told that your raising the volume of the radio on the dash then you not should not be allowed to drive or own a car in the first place

  • @solosortieSC2 dnt be a FOOL it is what called User Interface design this not about you this about all over the people in the world -____- u are so DUMB

  • Okay, this is interesting. This cutting edge technology is nothing less than amazing, the controls and display will appeal to a vast amount of today’s automobile market. There is a but though, when using these controls while driving i feel that since there are so many options to choose from, the time spent sifting through the menu can almost be compared with time spent occupied with doing other tasks, i.e. Texting. If there is anyone that knows more about these features please enlighten me.

  • this version prob costs aroudn 40 grand

  • Makes my 2010 Corolla look like the 1994 model. Still love the Corolla, tho'!

  • this car is hot im gettin one!

  • This is what we get for trusting USA. REMEMBER IRAQ!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheWorld4all

thats right, their driving is much more accurate when targeting than a american car, idiot red neck, wtf does this all have to do with trusting and pearl harbor

  • there have been professional drivers, driving for years who can't always have a perfect day of driving sometimes when you take your eyes off the road for a second, thats when people crash. It's a system thats just there to help even if that second helps.

  • Where are the sports models? Where is the Celica, the Supra etc? Come on Toyota stop stalling. Will you make the FT-HS or something sporty at last?

  • Buy a Scion Tc... it's almost a Toyota. But I agree, the Celica is definitely missed.

And for the guy who needs Lane Keep Assist? Seriously? You would trust a some car sensor to keep you in lane? I barely trust my toaster to not burn my bread.

  • You know, if someone feels the need for the Lane Keep Assist feature, maybe they shouldn't be driving. Clever feature, sure...but didn't Driver's Ed. teach you the importance of being alert and keeping your eyes open to all that was taking place in front of you? Have those rules changed in the past twenty years or so?

  • You gotta believe in technology man, machine sometimes are faster than human reaction...just like automatic is faster than manual car....Dynamic radar criuse control and pre-safe system was developed in 2003 or 2004 only used on Mercedes SL or BMW 7 series....those system is the gate way of auto driving thing in the future....

  • Totally agree with you. Best safety device would be the idiot immobilizer. It would simply immobilize the vehicle when it sensed an idiot on the wheel.

    Maybe in the future...

But seriously. CAN SOMEBODY FROM TOYOTA ANSWER MY QUESTION? WHERE ARE THE SPORTS MODELS?

  • The sport models never sold well with toyota.

The 4th gen Supra (1994-1998) only sold 8,000 within that time.

The MR2 was a similar turkey. The Celica's replacement is the Scion Tc cause Scion is Toyota's "sport" brand

  • I wish the Lane Keep Assist (LKA) features weren't so darn expensive as its only availlabe at the highest package which is a good 50% more than the base package.

  • When they come to Australia and come down a whole heck of a lot in price then i will deffinately buy one.
