my one regret in life i opted out of seeing Johhny to go on a date, what a let down cost a fortune to get home and didnt see her again, oh well seen bob many times. RIP J.CASH
Im gonna piss off some dylan fans here but this is something I always wondered. Why the hell didn't he just use the voice he used in Nashville Skyline during his whole career.? It was much better than the other dylan voice.
Dylan was never a vocal artist. his voice simply didnt matter. he was a poet that put his power to music. he never needed a great singing ability. Nashville Skyline was a great album but didnt match highway 61 revisited or blonde on blonde. and those he used his "other" voice. even this voice..while good still isnt perfect. his voice made people wonder why he was so great, they researched him, and then learned that he didnt need a great one
@bostonteabagger71739 Actually it's all just a smoking thing. Dylan's been smoking his whole life, but he took a break from smoking and that is the reason for his voice on Nashville Skyline. He then began smoking again and his smoking voice came back.
@bostonteabagger71739 I've read it was because he stopped smoking for a while before he cut Nashville Skyline. When he was younger, before his first album and still living in Minnesota, his only year of college, his girlfriend at the time recorded him doing some songs. She said he sounded like he did on Nashville Skyline. Then he got bronchitis, and he got his "Bob Voice." It stayed like that until the break from smoking, then went back to it when he lit up again.
no it isnt. the guy in the video screwed it up. he must have assumed that because thats the chorus. the song is titled "one too many mornings" that is the title released on all the albums. and the one that bob selected when he wrote it
A unique performance from two of the greatest singers. Bob is so handsome at this time and his voice is probably at his best, although I love him in every decade.
@EricDavidFloyd I thought so too! How funny would it have been if someone there had pointed it out lol Johnny: "OK everyone stop, Bob's chewing gum again. Bob, spit your gum into a tissue please and put it in the bin... how many times do I have to tell you?!"
both are true america's national treasures, I can honestly say, I've seen them both in person. Thanks to my late father, I grew up listening to the man in black and bob dylan. I will always be thankful for my daddy's love of great music, such as this.
yea wish i was born waaaay earlier......new crap rotten my brain dont much listen to radio, especially since they are selling all d radio stations to garbage
