  • my nvidia syestem information Processor:(1000 MHz) Operating System:Windows XP, 32-bit (Service Pack 3) DirectX version:11.0 GPU processor:GeForce 6200 Driver version:259.19 Core clock:350 MHz Memory clock:532 MHz (1064 MHz data rate) Memory interface:64-bit Total available graphics memory: 576 MB Dedicated video memory:512 MB DDR2 System video memory:0 MB Shared system memory:64 MB Video BIOS version:5.44.A2.10.72 IRQ:5 Bus:AGP 2X

  • can i ask.. my motherboard have slot AGP like 2.21 min...so can i use graphics card x8 ? because i have graphic card nvidia 6200 512mb x8 and pentium III 1.0 ghz

  • @xxSNSDxxx You should be fine with that card, but if your still un-sure let me know the model number for the mother board and I will see if I can get the specs for it.

    Nice One ; )

  • @viperfrank my mother board model 694T-686B Bios brand:award software in ternational, inc vesion 6.00 PG date 10/23/2001....when i use graphic card nvidia 6200 512mb x8 agp then i check in my CPUID Graphic interface : AGP version 3.0

transfer rate 2x and max supported 2x but im use nvidia 6200 512mb x8 why can be like that

  • Comment removed

  • @xxSNSDxxx If its AGP version 3 than that would be X8 1.5 / 0.8 volts, that 2x bus speed doesn't check out, I think there might be a communication error between CPUID and your chip set.

If it is version 3 than that card would work as normal.

    Nice One ; )

  • @xxSNSDxxx that nvidia 6200 alway make my pc not working like to stick on need much restart haiys..but ty a lot

  • My Motherboard is Mercury PI845Z and has a AGP but i dont know what x does it support and the CPU-Z which u told in the above video does not show even manufactures name and only shows the chipset manufacturer's name please help me

  • @vsmahankali That mother board is quite old, but I don't think its old enough to have a 3.3v slot so its going to be a 1.5v slot, judging by its age I would say its very likely to be 4x or 8x so aether would work. I think they did do a version of that motherboard with an AGP PRO slot but this one is not APG PRO.

hope this helped, and thanks for your comment.

    nice one!!!

  • Sub to him he is good

  • Thx so much good video

  • What is sideband? And also mine says not supported, is that bad.

  • nice video man, but I've got a question. Can I put a 1.5v 8X video card in a 1.5v 4X slot?!?

  • Hello, I downloaded the CPU-Z on to my computer and when I checked the mainboard, the Graphic Interface is faded out. Can you help me on that? Thanks.

  • @Pinoy2k8 make sure you go to mainboard tab, not the graphics tab

  • what is the difference between pci-e 2.0 16x and pci-e 16x?

  • Can you help me when I look on CPUID it doesnt say anything but from the pictures it says i have a agp 1.5v what kind of graphics card can i have?

  • Hi would an Nvidia Geforce fx 5200 (one with no fan) 256MB work on the MSI KM2M Combo-L? I'm not sure if the card is 4x or 8x i remember having it in the computer before and the computer still works but when i look at one they have in a shop with a fan and 128mb it says its an AGP 8x. The bus speed on the motherboard graphics slot is 2x/4x and i think it's a 1.5volt slot.

  • The AGP with no spacer key is actually a multi-voltage slot and supports both types of cards

  • In the GPU-Z, mainboard tab the graphics interface is faded why is that ~_~

  • Hello,

When I click on the mainboard tab, the graphics interface section is faded out as if it were non existent, much like a button on a dialog box that you can't press. Any thoughts? I know I have a slot for a graphics card that is not a PCI or PCI-E and I know it works, I installed a graphics card a little while ago just to see if it worked, which it did.

  • hey i am badly confused my cpuz says that i have a agp ver. 3 but when i opened my case i saw a pci express

so plz can u help me

  • @sbmalakar Hi there, sorry for the late reply.

this can happen some times, if you have a pci-e than you might be able to determine the speed of the port by looking on the motherboard around the port, there might be a reference to the speed with a small marking like "PCI-e 16" or "x16" or "x8" or something like that.

also if you have the mother board model number than let me know I might be able to get the data sheet for the motherboard.

hope this help and thanks for your comment.

    nice one!!!

  • hey i am badly confused my cpu z says that i have a agp ver. 3 but when i opened my case i think i saw a pci express

    plz help

  • Hey, about this video...Nice ,can gpu AGP 8x slot..play in PCI-Express X16

    please help me !!!!!!

  • @dashti80 hi there, sorry for the late reply, no you can not use a AGP card in a pci-express port it will probably damage the mother board but it will definitely not work, sorry.

    thank you for your comment.

    nice one!!!

  • Hey, i wanna get a new graphics card but i have no idea about my multiplier for my AGP slot... i've checked my make and model on 2 different things CPU-Z and dxdiag (inbuilt utility) but they're telling me different models, the model CPU-Z told me i had has a 8x AGP slot but the model dxdiag told me i had has only AGP (no multiplier) i'm guessing it would be ok to put an AGP card in either AGP or AGP 8x slot but i havn't been able to find one, can you help me?

  • Hi there...

I am having a PCIe X1 slot on my IBM Thinkcentre M52 ... Can i put an X1 Graphic card just to plug 2 monitors on it ... i need dual screen for my studio ... i dont need it for gaming ... Thanks

  • Hey,about this video...Nice...But,i've slotted my geforce 6200 256MB AGP 8X card into my AGP 4X motherboard and it's doing fine...Nothing to worry about....Really...(I know it's an old GPU but what can i do,it's cheap)

  • thank you .... came to know a lot today ....is 8x compliant same as 8x?

  • i have geforce 5500 fx it has 8x AGP so im gonna upgrade it so can i upgrade geforce 8 or something and it has 8x AGP?.

  • yay thank you sooo much! now to find a AGP video card...... LOLOL

  • on the cpu-z program it says that i have a agp 8x but when i opened the pc case its was a pci-express..whats is going on im confused

  • @GonsalosMusic wow, so would i be confused! thats strange, what graphics does it have on board, maybe it was referring to a virtual port that just happens to use AGP technology, also maybe your bios is slightly out of date and needs up dating, if the board is slightly older maybe when that board was just migrating to PCI-e they used older firmware, ever way that weird, im gonna have to look into that.

thanks for your comment and feedback.

    nice one!!!

  • hey nice video i downloaded this program and it says that i have a version PCI-express and it is x16 i am i was just wondering if it is good? i am thinking in geting some new parts to my pc and i don't know if i need to get a new motherboard or not

  • @H8sch00l hay thats good if you have a pci-e x16 thats more than likely going to be a quite up to date mother board, your going to have a choice of absolutely loads of cards on the market.

if you use the cpu-z program there should be a tab for motherboard and one for cpu if you cheack them out and let me know the motherboard and cpu's model number i can get a idea of what your running, hope this helped and thanks for your comment.

    nice one!!!

  • hey thanks man cpuid.com really helped ALOT!!!!! :D

  • James the CPU-Z(graphic interface) shows nothign to me is that becous my grafphic card is integrate?(and yes i have a free slot to put a graphic card i think its for x8) thx a loot James.

  • can gpu agp 8x slot..play in agp 4x slot...

    plleeezzzzz!!!!tell mee...

  • @ajam920 hi there, you should be fine putting an AGP4x card on an AGP8x slot and the other way round as long as the slot voltages are the same (it will normally say above the slot, 1.5v is what your looking for) but the card will only run at the lowest speed. so if you put an AGP4x card in an AGP8x slot it will only run at 4x.

quite often your mother board, if it's fairly modern it will give you the option in the bios to set the slot up to 8x.

    hope this helped.

    nice one!!!

  • @viperfrank can gpu agp 4x slot..play in agp 8x slot.....

  • @viperfrank now i know that..

    thnks 4 your information....

    and 512mb ram :D

64mb video memory lol , but now i know i can buy agp8x graphics card :)

  • that alright, perfect for running XP. and Believe it or not there are still quite a lot of AGP cards still on the market.

  • This is kind of off the subject, but where did you get those guitar mounts in the wall?

  • hi there, thats Ok i welcome all comments, i got the guitar wall hangers for a little music shop i sometimes travel to called coda music, but you can find them on like eBAY or amazon, and they are quite inexpensive as well. 1 got mine for like £10. hope this answered your question and thank for your comment.

    nice one!!!

  • c'mon wo really cares now i thought that cpi-e rulez especially 2.0 2.1 also 1.0

  • if a agp card says agp 8x but looks diverent to other agp cards that say 8x do they bothe fit the same slot some have one notch and other agp 8x cards have 2 would they both fit a agp 8x slot with only one spacer that looks like the 1.5v slot you showd us theres a agp card with 2 notches that i whant to buy but im not sure if it will fit my pc

  • in the graphics interface there is nothing for me just blank spaces

  • same to me

  • i think its because we might have integrated graphics and it only reads if there is a card in there

  • you're right. I have an integrated graphics card .

I just found out what type of slot I have, using an application called Astra32.

google it it's free. between I got an agp4x :D

  • sweet i got 8x :)

  • same with me

  • Thx for the information .

  • thanks very much bud, yesterday i came home with a pci graphic card and looked on my mother board and just got confused. after watching your two videos on agp cards i think i could teach the guy in the shop about them now.haha. thank again saved me time and money. keep up the good shit.

  • agp is dead. what an odd video

  • just because AGP is not around much anymore doesn't mean people haven't got AGP millions of people have got computers with AGP including me and my computer is only 3 years old and he actually explains in the video that AGP is not around much any more, and i don't see how you think its an odd video he's showing people how to tell what type of AGP slot they have in there computer and judging from the comment on the other video they have AGP and need to know so how is that an odd video????

  • nice vid

  • thanks for the vid!

  • bout time a new vid was on here
