They should have a rule where everyone must shut the fuck up when looking at the aquarium. It would make the experience much more enjoyable and serene. Maybe some Enya in the background too
I miss Okinawa! This place is so awesome to see in person. They rays inside are like the size of a full grown man! It is crazy!!! And the squid that is down the hall! YIKES!!!!
Awesome, I just watched a program on the Science Channel about the technology and contruction of this aquarium. It's ridiculous how ingenius that whole aquarium is, especially behind the scenes.
I remember churami so well! I'm surprised I would be able to see it again, even through youtube. I remember, to the right of the tank was a restaurant where you could watch the whale shark and rays swimming. And then off to the left up some stairs was the sharks.
Right on, i totlly agree if u leave them in the wild there is more of a chance that the species won't die so we can see more of them in a natural habitat
Amazing display. That looks like a whale shark in there! I can't imagine the difficulty of keeping the world's largest fish in captivity. It's a filter feeder, too -- it moves through the water with its mouth open and sucks in plankton -- so I wonder exactly how they feed this behemoth?

It's friggin amazing. Yes, that is a whale shark. There were also 1 or 2 huge manta rays in the tank when my family and I went years ago.
