Ancient Dark Brotherhood armor and Cicero's Clothes are the most effective stealth based armor sets in the game, both are somewhat hard to get though.

You also want to train Illusion a lot. Then just have right hand equiped with a decent dagger like Mehrune's Razor or the Blade of Woe (Daedric, glass, ebony also will work well) and equip left hand with Invisibilty/frenzy. You'll be able to get in and out of anything.

you get blade of woe for completeing dark brotherhood, and im pretty sure you can get 2 if you steal from her using pickpocket perks, then recieve at the end through reward

@ilogmog I've killed about 6 and I'm lvl 19 :/ so yes that seems strange. Do you actively hunt them or are they all random appearances? Or are you far on in the main quest?

@ilogmog xD Dang. But souls are never a waste. Sicne there are 20 shouts and most require 2 or 3 souls to fully unlock, u should be gd.

@ragrytakr I took most of them, since sneaking and backstabbing is so important to fight bosses (or even some mob at master difficulty level). Just find out that dual-weilding backstab is even stronger! I had 2 blade of woe now, it's awesome, may be i'll try to 1shot some dragon at master difficulty

@magictuesday42 Not sure, tell you what, I'll keep doing the quests, and if anything happens at the end, I'll let you know, I'm pretty sure its the game rewarding you by giving you easy missions that are worth 600 gold each. Also, the thieves guild I heard is really cool, you might want to try that out
