  • wow! That's awesome!

  • Arnold is a RINO in the vein of Scozzafava

  • He's right!!!! The majority of the bills are telephone book length & are released far too late to be understood. "We The People" redognize this problem.

NO VOTING till you read & understand each bill.

Here's my concerns. See my BLOG

    constitutionalvoices. org/bloggers/freedomblogger2/? p=3

    ((TAKE OUT THE SPACES))

  • The only solution that I see - is redistricting. But being the idiots that we are, California voted it down. The Dem's & their masters - unions - spent millions & millions to spook the public. Sad.

Until these guys (& gals) don't feel confident in their automatic re-election, they won't change their behavior. We're doomed if we can't get these liberal fools out of power.

  • klrdotorg, Californians passed prop 11 which was to have the legislature redistricted every 10 years by the people and NOT the legislators. I'm glad they passed it because I'm tired of the gridlock going on in Sacramento. And how they won't do anything because they know that they can get away from it because each district supports one party or the other where voters will vote for them anyways no matter how mad people are. So I'm glad they passed it.

  • I'm glad they passed it too, erick. Let's see if it makes a difference. There's going to be an epic battle if they do make some serious changes. This state is a shining example of how NOT to run a state. If we can't recognize that now, and make radical changes, I don't know what it will take to wake people up.

  • Archimark, you couldn't be further off of the mark! You take the typical Lib stance... If you don't agree and align with the democratic party, you are automaticly an enemy of the state. Who's the jack ass??!! It's nice to see a lifelong Democrat stand up to the state Legislature and his own party to say enough is enough. The status quo is not cutting it anymore. Bravo! Another Democrat coming out of the fog!

  • California is in the rut its in because of LIBERALS and DEMOCRATS. And don't tell me Arnold is a Republican. He is a FRAUD.

  • Arnold is a Republican

Thing is that Arnold is NOT a conservative

  • Is this jack-ss running for another office? You can bet if you see this fraud in the news he is running for another office..

  • Great to see someone tell it like it is.

    attentionallcitizens org

  • Too little, too late. This plane is crashing! Look to the SALVAGE!

  • Very refreshing. Just think of how much better off this state would be if all the politicians thought like Bill.

  • Give it up for Lockyer for telling it like it is!

  • This dude is being put in a hell of a position. These old burnout hippie women on the CA State Assembly are sewing the seeds of the Golden State Collapse. & its all a big joke to them. The Treasurer is seeing this 1st hand & the hippie women have no concept of the value of a dollar. They are completely ignorant and are more consumed with their power & social lives. Good luck CA - in 20 years CA will be nothing more than an Illegal Immigrant pit-stop on their way to their final destination.

  • Is this a sign of the apocalypse? plain speaking in California politics? It just isn't done

  • Bill Lockyer is a Fraud, when I wrote him a letter about my Corrupt company Consolidated Freightways, that they were not self-insured and alleging they were on their 10-q form, he simply wrote me back and said yes your right, however I will not do a thing about it! Police powers in the law demand he should have intervene on my behalf! The 3 Trillion budget for Californias is all being diverted into Elites pockets, Diane Fienstein took 25 million from the stimulus money & gave it to her husband

  • Wow! A California politician that actually get's it. How refreshing!

  • just stop it, juuuust stop it

  • Wow, an adult speaking to our legislature. How many have their fingers in their ears? I wasn't sure that Lockyer could make so much sense.

  • LOL, Ill bet if you turn the volume way up , maybe you can hear the "LA LA LA " of the horrified legislatures.

But seriously you make a good point in that there probably wasn't anyone in the audience to hear this scolding.

  • Couldn't agree more - msq. I only wish that a few million of our voting residents would watch this vid.

  • I dont give a fuck about anyone that reads this, I care about God, myself, and my money. That's it, and that's how it should be. It's what made America a superpower and now you fuck it up. No wonder I love fighting you assholes when you argue with me, liberals are all pussy's. One fist upside your jaw and you cower like a bitch.

  • Matthew 19:24 Again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God

  • You have a foul mouth. If you believe in what you say, please say it with respect. My father died in WWII. He was a liberal and my mother would not even accept a government pension for it. She said he died fighting for his country. It made life hard for us kids. But we signed up too. I was a lieutenant. Were you in the military sir?

  • That's the liberal mentality, and to that I say fuck you liberals. You have ruined this country and for what? Too say "people feel good"? How fucking good so they feel now? If you would let the free market rein, and accept the fact that yes, some people are going to hurt, big fucking deal. Worry about yourself.

  • What happens when the free market hurts you or your family? Do you shrug and say "That's the way it is"?

"Free market" isn't what has California in trouble, it's wasteful spending, which is a problem with both political mindsets.

  • Actually, when the free market hurts you, you turn around and use the freedom of the market to strike back. A truly free market enables that give and take.

I completely agree with you about causation of our problems though. Wasteful spending has been unchecked here in CA for decades.

  • Oh Mr. Tictawk, you are forgetting that this is 2009 and that nobody can hurt. Utopia is just a tax increase away. The world will be perfect if lib's keep getting their way...we need more taxes and control from the gov, not less. The constitution is outdated...Only Chairman Mau-Bama can guide us.

  • Read his other posts and you'll realize he's a sarcastic, potty-mouthed troll ;-)

  • public employees are killing cali

  • We are doomed, and we have all known this for a long time - at least twenty years. There is no hope. We are a failed state. Headed for a take over by a failed federal government.

  • Calif WAS the LIBERAL experiment gone awry and the bastion of liberal culture that clearly FAILED. This great State has been totally led by Democrats for decades. It is crystal CLEAR that liberal policies implemented with good intent have FAILED when the RESULTS are analyzed. Every program has failed to meet its stated goals and cost the taxpayer hundreds of billions of dollars. Govt is NO SUBSTITUTE for the free market. We have never had a truly free market due to increasing govt intervention.

  • @xabixnaq:

"Only 18% of Americans consider themselves GOP" this simply means that CONSERVATIVES do not see the GOP representing their values. The GOP is full of RINOs.

"The nation was bankrupt when Obama took office" True and now what is going on is downright criminal because Obama is allowing the LARGEST transfer of wealth from the TAXPAYER to the BANKING industry as all their losses are SOCIALIZED and our future generations are forced into involuntary servitude. Where is the outrage?

  • I agree with you. I'm very disappointed with Obama on this. I don't know if socialism is the right word. I'd say feudalism maybe. And yes I'm outraged. I have a 22 yr old son who when he graduates won't even be able to get a job and will have to pay huge taxes for the bailout.

  • this hugh and series ....

  • He is right. There is absolutely nothing that can fix Cali. It is on the freight train to total collapse. All these govt. workers in California have these cadillac (sound familiar??) pension plans that the state cannot support. The legislature passes laws that drive hard working individuals and businesses out to greener pastures. Who is going to support the massive pension welfare state? Answer, nobody.

  • Get a TRUE conservative whom will deport all illegals , get rid of affirmative action and balance the economy

Right now the Republican Party HATES Conservatives

Google '' RINO Dede Scozaffava NY 23 ''

Not only have they destroyed the Democratic Party but they are trying to destroy true conservative candidates as well !!!

The 2010 elections will be a bloodbath

  • California has a RINO running and she is a billionaire. Meg Whitman. And She loves her some Van Jones and if you youtube: meg whitman van jones.

  • Just stop it, just stop it, it's junk......

Great tag line for an ad against the socialists.....

  • Someone in California is doing his job.

  • Let california burn , this is their mess, let them burn. Stop trying to save the whales the dirt and the rocks and the air and the snakes and the grass, and etc. stop the BS !

    REVOLT !!

  • As goes California, so goes the Nation. California is INSOLVENT and the Nation is INSOLVENT too. At the national level, the Fed is PRINTING funny money to paper over the bad debt. There is no way except a financial meltdown in the markets that will force any change. Lockyer sees the light and probably decided that party affiliation was not important anymore. Never forgeet ALL DEBT MUST BE RECONCILED either by paydown or default.

  • ok can you please get our water back? our farmers need to grow crops and the lame-o democrooks are siphoning it off for a fish.

  • successful, talented conservatives go into business.

successful, talented liberals go into politics.

  • HAHAHA so he's a democrat saying all the democrats are putting forth stupid money programs and signing off on them when they shouldn't be. that's awesome. i'll check out his record and keep his name in mind if i ever have him on a ballot.

  • If you listen closely... Democrats cannot reform the pension system because of the whom behind the scenes elected them. THE UNIONS - SEIU, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, Teachers Unions are the major backers of democrat candidates in this state and they are very militant and wont back down with their pensions. In Berkeley, the unions tried to fire bomb the University President's house. They will bankrupt this state. Time to end public sector unions - drain on our money.

  • ugh exactly why principles are the best tools experienced and knowledgeable people have in dealing with unforeseen problems. i'm sure no one knew the exact ways unions would hurt the system a few decades down the road that's why the principle of no government granted privilege or any interference to an entity that can manipulate the market is important. funny that this guy admits there are other individuals more experienced and knowledgeable yet he can't accept their best method.

  • Don't forget the elections of '94 and the conservative tide that took congress. They had clinton cut back the welfare state, cut taxes, improve budget. Then most of them went home after about two terms. Then the rinos took charge. That is the rest of the facts.

  • You're right. Clinton was intent on promoting an agenda that he knew the Republicans would go along with. He was not really a liberal or progressive. The California Legislature has always been a bit dysfunct. I worked in government. They can never get a budget passed on time. I could see the capitol bldg from my office and knew a few politicians.

  • True, Democrat President + Republican Congress seemed to work pretty well.

Maybe we can try it again. I mean, Obama hasn't impressed me so far, but maybe that's because he has to work with a Democrat Congress. I'm willing to give him a chance and see how he does with a Republican Congress.

But I've had it with the Democrats in Congress- I say throw the bums out.

  • Look, I'm nonpartisan. But the Republicans are not doing well. M. Reed What up and all. All the sex scandals. South Carolina a constant embarrassment. The astro-turf websites. The attrition in their ranks. I'd like to see a strong, principled Republican Party. And for that matter an Independent Party.

  • @xabixnaq: you may claim to be non partisan but you are politically ignorant. Calif is totally run by Democrats and the mess here in Calif cannot be blamed on Repubs. Never forget Govt 101, President Proposes and CONgress disposes. Under Clinton, there was a Repub congress that held the line on Spending. Today there are no checks and balances at the State level or the National level. The radical left is running everything and the RESULTS are plain to see. Calif & the Nation is bankrupt

  • I am not blaming the Republicans. Their record speaks for itself. Only 18% of Americans consider themselves GOP. The nation was bankrupt when Obama took office. It started when Clinton, along with Phil Gramm repealed the Glass Steagall Act and was made worse by Bush. Obama's people in finance are Republicans. Politically ignorant. I worked in California Government. You're entitled to be misguided. I suggest you take that Govt 101 course.

  • To be honest, W. made it embarassing to be a Republican.. most of the republicans I know are standing closer to the libertarians in the room than they are the party leaders..

    W. spent like a democrat and pissed a lot of people off..

The Tea Parties are rightly pissed off by the amount of spending that Barack has done but make no mistake. W. helped to prime the pump of discontent.

  • The truth has been spoken. Only the current batch of Republicans are RINO's. The current Democrats ares Socialists. We need both parties to flourish. Unfortunately California is the grips of both impostor parties. The Treasurer has given them the news lets see if they can snap out of it. Hopefully before the Golden State sinks into the mire of self-destruction.

  • @irisojects Lockyer gave the commencement speech at my under-grad, Loyola Marymount University a private catholic school, and he attacked some federal law president Bush signed denieing funding to abortion organizations lol.......yes at a catholic school! I think the United States and all its institutions are failing, now what? I'm supposed to be the future! There is a future for me right?

  • @MattyTheMole Yes, there is a future. Right now there's a battle for the soul of the Republican party. We must return to our roots brought forth by Lincoln and Reagan. Lincoln knew that for our country to succeed that everyone must have the ability to thrive and purse their dreams. Reagan knew that national security would assure innovation and protect our sovereignty. Fiscal responsibility assures the right social and moral policies for the next generations. That's the fight, we will prevail.

  • What we need is massive Tax Cuts to make it cheaper for Califorians to live and work here and we need the Legislature to help people that are struggling to make it and help people that are in poor neighborhoods. Not to be insulting to anyone but they like to help the rich people and why can't they help the middle class and lower class people? They don't and its sad. We need to Scrap the High Speed Rail project and use the money to improve our roads and Freeways that we so desperatly need.

  • He's talking about California Republicans not the national republican party

  • Amen.

  • Yeah as I asked how are we going to afford it back then all I got in response from rinos was, be realistic, we are being compassionate conservatives, unlike you, your days are past, we must be the big tent, appeal to more people, stop pushing idealogical purity, blah blah blah.

And so for the next several years I watched in disbelief as rinos rolled over/gave up what it meant to be conservative in most ways, and acted like dem lite. See where that got them. Not such a big tent in '06 elections.

  • The California Republicans are not the same as the national party.

  • How do you figure?

  • That's because the only Republicans that are elected in California are pansy ass fools! The democrats and their unions have ruined the state, and the same lame brained ideas are now in the white house... we are doomed!
