  • I play the last two songs as I just started playing pipes at the beginning of the year last two are te rowan tree and bonnie gallawa

  • Wonderful job! (I do wonder how the pipes can be played in the house without shattering eardrums) Keep it up!

  • Remind me of the song?

  • out of interest why did you stop the drones?

  • @frasertrials it helps to keep pressure through the chanter and helps to slowly get used to driving the

larger volume of air needed for the drones

  • he is playing scotland the brave ii know it

  • Another piper! :) I started at 13. Best of luck!

  • Why no drones? Good piping! I usually get asked to play 'Jingle Bells' at Christmas time! Thanks for posting! :D

  • why do pipes tap the top of the drones to stop the noise? like why i dont get it

  • It chokes the drone reed and causes the tongue on the reed to stay closed.

  • MacCallums AB3 Clasp edition. Then for Piping in parades in bad weather Dunbar P3s.

  • I love it! Young kids playing the Great Highland Bagpipes. Wish more of them would take the instrument up.

  • just watch ur birls a wee bit

  • I hope this kid's future is a musical career.

  • how long have u been on the pipes (not the practice chanter)?

  • Over a year hes been on the pipes. He practices daily. These are just some simple tunes to entertain the family at Christmas. He plays in a Gr.4 pipeband now. He also takes private lessons from one of the worlds best pipers (teachers ), which is why he plays so well.Hes leaving today to go to France and play at the Canadian War Memorial Vimy Ridge then he goes to Holland for 9 days to play there.

  • Is this with the band or by himself?

    (Also who is his teacher?)

  • why dont you shut up i only played 11 months so shut up and my family was to impatent for me to tune my drones stupid

  • Ive been playing pipes for 13 months and I can play "Captains Pledge" (look it up) so experience doesnt mean much. Skill comes with practise and this kid seems to have practised hard for his family so do him a favour and LEAVE HIM ALONE if u r gonna send comments badmouthing his playing. Well done mate keep up the practice

  • I was complimenting your playing. Thats what "great job" means...
