the definition of Rahman = the one who is merciful to the believers (Muslims) and disbelievers ( those who reject the message of Prophet Muhammad) alike in this life.
Raheem = The One who is ONLY Merciful to the believers ( those who follow the Porphet Muhammad and believe in Allah) in the next life.
This is not related to thoses who died without hearing the message of islam, the will be judged differently but those who did and rejected the message they will be 4ever in hellfire.

Of course they can be friends. what a stupid question. but what's sad is that Reza Safa is NOT a former Shi'a and that is not his real name. My brother Bilal Jihad, talked to him and has had a standing challenge to debate him at the Shi'a Masjid in Bartlesville, OK since before '99. Reza's always been an Irani Christian, and he refused to debate. He won't do it because he KNOWS he's a fraud and Bilal said said it to his face. The challenge still holds if the liar Reverend wants to.

Many good statements and quotations have been made regarding humanity and human relation but the most important point is missing which is salvation solely and only through Jesus Christ and not through any other. Religion without salvation and without life is but a religion no matter who its prophet is. We need to be saved. We don't want to live together only in this life. We want to live with you eternally.

Show some respect guys. This was an important debate, and we need a mature discussion.
Making rude comments will only spoil the purpose of this whole thing, which is to encourage a respectful debate between two sides.
