Oh wow, this was neat! Hey I saw a couple times where the guy on the right would hold up just his little finger, is that some sort of gesture over there?

@Book5204 Yeah, I'm not totally sure on that one.

However, I've seen a number of places online that have referred to that hand sign (without puffing up the cheeks) as having to do with one's girlfriend or one's wife. You might get a call and a friend you're with might use that sign to mean, "It's your girlfriend?"

But that didn't make any sense here to me. I basically interpreted it to mean "That's inappropriate."

Oh wow, even though Japanese is my first language. This makes me realize how much of the joke I've been missing out on. Good job on the subtitles and the additional notes!

@CIKASA This one definitely took a lot of research (like about サル軍団), a lot of asking questions to a few native residents (like the ZAO part), and just a lot of listening over and over again (In Part 2, the fast-paced story in "Toritori" Prefecture was the most challenging).

But, it really means a lot to hear that from a native speaker. Thanks a lot!
