If you are NOT married and you are in a relationship...........aren't you DATING that person? If you are DATING them......that means you are NOT married.......if you are dating a person who is a "9"......how will you EVER find a "10".........I think people SHOULD date MULTIPLE people and be in MULTIPLE relationships UNTIL they are ready to get ENGAGED then MARRIED.
I don't think people are monagamous by nature. We are taught that we need to be monagamous in order to have a well functioning relationship. A lot of people who cheat would probably prefer to be in an open relationship but might not get that opportunity.
An open relashionship doesn't necesseraly have to be casual and pointless. People who have open relationships do it for different reasons. Some people don't want to commit and have sex with others and other people want to spend time with various people mainly for emotional reasons, they don't want to limit themselves or heve too meny restrictions. You can care about your pertner and enjoy you time together but once in a while you want to connect with somebody else.

Aww do my makeup please lol...I wouldn't do an open relationship b/c too many feelings involved into that and it can lead to a big big mess!
