I find it amazing how people get upset when a youtuber doesn't do things the way they want them to. I can only assume that Will is making these videos for pleasure and fun and NOT to cater to people who have the audacity to criticize them. Lmao, Clusterfuck Atlas! I agree that the book has its dense parts but it's not that hard to follow the whole story-within-a-story thing. It's annoying that they're interrupted half-way through, but once you get past the middle of the book, and each story is concluded, the pacing is very quick and the endings are very rewarding. It's pretty epic.

I actually like this book a lot, especially b/c the way the stories unfold. You could make the mirror comparison, since the first story is the last story, but it's really like a Matryoshka doll, as each story-written in the style of the genre-is somehow discovered within the next one, until the whole thing folds in. (Like ascending/descending themes.) So I saw it as a book about stories and where they come from and how deep they go. Just a quick defense. I've always enjoyed your book reviews.
