@jackharrison101 he is 68 years old now. voices grow older as well and its amazing that he kept this strong singing voice and his remarkable sweet tone over all the decades anyway. now it seems to fade, we should give him a break now.

Emotion is choking his voice. He misses his Lovely Linda. And he's back home in Liverpool. He's been through a lot lately. Can't blame him for being a bit choked up.
Don't give this guy a thumbs down for his opinion. Paul isn't in as great of voice as he has always been. Weather? Linda? Age? Doesn't matter. It is almost like a piece of passage of time, where maybe he should not sound the same as the past. and that is a good thing. Time moves on and shows us our mortality.
I`ve heard him live a couple of years ago, and he sang much better there than he did on his Liverpool gig. I think his voice was a little rough at this gig. When i saw him he was perfect! He`s still singing good on a good day!

I think you're right about his voice sounding like that because he was emotional. If you listen to "I Saw Her Standing There" later in the show, his voice is strong and terrific.
i now cant listen to this song without thnking of his meaningful dedication to linda.... just goes to show true love does exsist...MACCA ur amazing... a true musical genius never to be repeated
