  • amazing

  • Hey man nice work, i kinda do the same thing as you but you drumming skills are insane man, really good stuff!!

  • brilliant

  • nice vid

  • mario at 2:18

  • Man, You're a hell of genius! Excel in three instrument like that plus the recording too is awesome.. Namaste!

  • He Has Twins and there all awsome

  • OMG THIS IS AMAZING HAHAHA

  • Incredible! You are super talented! What program did you use to clone yourself and is IMovie capable of doing this? Mike

  • very nicely done, rock on!

  • Cool! If you want to see a REAL one man band... here I am!

  • wats your program ???

  • Drums are recorded amazingly for only having two overheads, and the snare and bass. What mics are you using?

  • @jochristy96 mxl 993s, shure pg 52, and some unknown dynamic mic. They're really cheap mics. to get good sound out of them I have to use a lot of EQing. I never end up using the snare mic in the final mix.

  • If anyone is interested, the video response posted is of me playing drums, piano, electric and acoustic guitar and singing on a song I wrote. Enjoy!

  • Yeaaaah!!

    Really good work man!!

    Gongratulations!

  • I wish I could play with myself. And not the way I usually do in the morning. But seriously though have you been playing since you were in the womb or something? That was incredible!

  • Dont pay attention to any negative comments-you obviously are talented!

  • Great skills at drum and bass. I'm less impressed by the guitar and moreover I don't like most of the amps and settings your using; too agressive, not smooth.

Anyway great one man jam. Keep up dude.

  • @Dopamint I would have to agree. if I made another video, I'd take the time to polish everything. I put no care into the guitar track since it was last. I was tired of the project and just wanted it done quick.

  • I am in love with your snare. Its so tight sounding. The pop is fantastic. What kind? and how much? Also great playing!

  • @MrCReagan it's an old 1970s ludwig acrolite. it was my first snare, and is still my main snare. thanks!

  • this is pretty sick, i am going to do some stuff along the same lines, for my solo project.

but i dont know what video editing software to use. >.>

    advice?

    split screen or Green screen?

  • dude, this is sick

  • Za-ba da-wap!

  • Cool!!!! Excellent Skills!!

  • Haha awesome.

  • Haha this is brilliant!

  • Ha! This is edited. Parts of the left guy's head turn white on the sides! I knew that there weren't triplets! Maybe twins, but not....oh wait a minute...

  • at 4:00 awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • how old is this guy? keep this up man

  • so you and your brothers are triplets??? lol jk. nice work man

  • what program are you using to over dub the vids?

  • very nice i hope to make an ametuer 1 man band video but yours takes the cake

  • I bet that the guitar is not your main instrument

  • slappity slappity pop then gutiar goes wakkakaa wakkkaaakaaa yeaahhhh. you are my hero.

  • i got an eargasm 'cause the sound of your drumset *__*

  • Damnit! another person who's presence I have to bow before haha

  • wow man, ur very talented!! good work, mad props to you

  • like the funk feeling!

  • This must have takin forever to put together haha...god damn dude.Nice work!

  • i like the play off of La Fiesta you did at 5:30. very nice.

  • must've taken alot of planning lol

  • dude this was pretty dang awesome

  • spammer...

  • Cool shit dude!!! That ROCKS!!!

  • The snare sounds.........KILLER!!!

  • I play drums and guitar but neither like that. You are friggin amazing. As far as any mistakes, some of the best licks in music started out as mistakes that ended up just adding more character than "getting it right" ever could. I'm saving this to my favorites.

  • I was loosing faith untill the bass came in.. Don't get me wrong the drumming was good, but it just needed some music to it. We can't all be Danny Carey. I like the way you did the video though. It really showed off all your styles. And you can obviously play in many different keys and scales. I'd like to see what you could do when writing an actual song, however. I see potential..practice practice practice!!

  • dude! nice work. with the micing on the drums. are you just using two over head mics and one snare mic? sounds really good.

  • seriously how does this only have 30000 views. This is one of the better DIY youtube videos out there. if this doesn't have a million views by next month I'm going to rent a van, fill it up with numchucks and samurai swords then drive to each of your houses and kick the shit out of all of you. don't doubt me bee-yotches. good work bro!

  • dude you freakin rock!!

  • i wish you were my drummer mate

  • You have a brother ??

  • you rock. but i have to say, the most impressive thing about this video is your editing

  • hey man whats the china ur using above the ride?

  • @ShawnzyDrummer

THAT is the Wuhan 18" china. best china every, cheap too. wish I had the 22"

  • @corporeal fuck the 18" go big, go for the 27" :D:D:Dd

  • 2:18 xD

    Brilliant.... all of it :D

  • How come THIS does not have over a million views???????

  • this is on my favorites.... and you dont suck at double bass DUDE.

  • Ure Fckn. Amazing dude!! :D Keep going!! :D

  • This is fucking amazing man! Your like the BEST thing ive seen on youtube, seriously. Im not kidding. And keep that hair and goatee dude you look like Shaggy. Haha

  • @EvanTheKillerWolf oh...'that' shaggy. I can't grow facial hair, the beard is gone. the hair stays.

  • @corporeal lmao.Yeah, i have long hair too.

  • this is very good, its pretty funny too, i was very entertained =D

  • If you have anything negative to say about this video, I want to see you do a response video showing a tenth of his talent. The dude is a beast, give it up.

  • Totaly awesome!!

  • Круто! Аще красава)))

  • You are Amazing!!! You really need some recognition, i mean there's so much talentless crap out there nowadays, and you blow it all to bits, you deserve to be rich and famous unlike nost of the crap out there, you are a true hero

  • Dude you are so good! Job job man, I am thouroughly impressed!!! You sound of your drums are so good!

  • To be honest... I think Naefag needs to fuck off.

  • What video editing program you use? and if all recording is done through your pc what software you use? I think it looks and sounds very good, especially the video editing.

  • this guys super skilled

  • very nice...keep it up

  • This is fucking amazing, anyone that thinks otherwise is a moron. This is really inspiring stuff man, keep doing it.

  • you play drums well, but as a composer I think you need more than this vid to proove you're good at it

if I just owned your material mate....

A GOOD JOB (it's better than to see most of what is uploaded on youtube)

  • u got a lot of talent...i hope ur doing something with it

  • And I love the kick-drum flams. That's my favorite thing to do when playing drums.

  • Nice. I'm about to do some cloning myself. I hope I can get it right!

  • kid rock? at 0:57? lol

  • I love when the slap bass part starts. totally fuckin amazing man. You rock dood. Your editing skills are stellar too. Nice job

  • very very talented. fook the haters, slating ya double bass...LOL like to see them fookers play bass and guitar while also being able to play the drums. Sign of jealousy if ya ask me.. Keep on playing m8 you rock.

  • it's shaggy!

  • i appreciate this

  • aa q chimbaa parce de efectooo mannnn the besttt

  • @NaeJoy it's getting better

  • @corporeal , anyone who writes the one bad thing they observed through this video or any video with this amount of passion and effort is a jerk. a negative creep as cobain would say. impossible that he appreciates the time it takes to record somthing like this and put together, let alone making up all the parts to begin with. learn to keep the negative thoughts in and let the positive ones out. if i was like you my reply would have been more like this......"to be honest... youre an asshole"

  • @NaeJoy Yea dude i think hes more of a classical player ya kn, no way he could use his double bass like mat griener but hes got a shit ton of talent and hes good and makes some sweet sounds. keep it up man!

  • @NaeJoy

Thank god... I thought i was crazy when i thought something was wrong with the double bass drum playing at the 00:54 :P

  • @NaeJoy wtf are you on about he did an amazing job

  • @NaeJoy I took your critique and I put a lot of work into improving my double bass technique. It's a lot better, but I won't have a video up to prove it for quite some time. I've been learning double stroke rolls and the use of accents with my feet. it's really fun! Next, I'm gonna try and get flams going.

  • i must admit, i'm highly impressed by this, what's your first instument? like your main instrument?

  • i bet if i didnt buy a car or a house, i could afford all that gear. pretty fun to watch though lol

  • That is not a jam. You have planned this. A jam is improvised music, it's not planned. You comunicate in jam!

  • @Pederost96 everything was improvised. I made up a drum track, first take, kept all the mistakes. I picked up my bass and tried to remember what the drum track was, made up a bass line. took a few tries to get a good one. picked up my guitar, tried to remember what the changes were, did it in 2 takes. As far as jamming goes, this was definitely not composed. But, if you were jamming live with two other musicians and you could some how read their minds, this is what might happen.

  • @Pederost96 too bad uprobly couldnt do any of this. even if u planned it. and god knows if it would turn out good if it was a jam.

  • @Pederost96 i agree its not really a jam but i think its still pretty good

  • nicely done man!!! kudos

  • I love your ability to bounce flawlessly between many styles of music, very entertaining to watch and listen to.

  • THAT WAS REALLY AMAZING!!!!!

  • very nice, youve given me an idea for my next video thanks

  • You're friggin' awesome!

  • great!!!

  • amazine!!!!

  • awesome playing, awesome video and audio effects (though i can see a very thin aura around the bassist), and i so wish i had a tablet to manage my plugins!

  • That's good editing, I can see the seam though on the right door I think, and a double corner behind you. But really good work what software do you use?

  • You could always make a video of yourself playing two of the instraments projected on a screen behind you and play live on the third, rotating through them, and have a killer show. Or...pay two more people to do what you already can and go home with a third of what you could have....hmmmm. A roady would come in handy though.

  • You're a much better drummer than you are a bassist or guitarist.

  • what are you using to mike it?

  • @thegrollster cheap mxl 993 condensers, a cheap shure pg52 kick mic, and some generic vocal mic on the snare. nothing special, really

  • @corporeal no but a damn good mic job for youtube haha little mini FOH

  • @corporeal so the toms are just bleeding through the snare, kick and overheads?

  • @thegrollster mostly just those overheads. I think even the snare mic was barely used in the final mix. I can't remember if I put an EQ on the overheads - I probably did to boost the low end.

  • lmao i love when the bassist walks in and the drummer is like "what the fuck?.... owell i'll roll with it" great music love this vid, rock on bro

  • such a good job, bro! keep on doing that!

  • TIGHT. AS. SHIT.

  • this is amazing :) good job! love what you've done with the drum kit as well :)

  • Fantastic job. The only thing that could use some work is the guitar.

  • haha MysteryGuitarMan! FTW XD awesome vid dude, did you use Sony Vegas 9 to do this?

  • this is totally cool! you are a great composer with a good feel for a lot of different styles of music. watch the thumb with the slap bass, but good use of tapping and technique within your jams.

i cant wait to see the next one bro

  • @emericacky2k what should my thumb be doing? I never had any formal bass lessons.

  • you are amazing!!!

  • the world will end in 2012 due to the epicness of this jam

  • fuck you have 1 nice sounding kit there.

  • professional standard!

  • shit.. sick kit

  • Nice drum riffs at the start man. You a fan of Dream Theater/Mike Portnoy by chance? Sounds very tight. Good jam, I'm inspired to get on my Explorer when I get home!

  • awesome. =D

  • this si really awsome

  • Funny How MegaSpeed86 has bad shit to say on both videos but can not produce any of his own.

  • this was the shee-it.

keep up the good work man.

  • double bass is sloppy, but your quick with your hands.

  • it's really sloppy, but I didn't care enough to fix it. I probably should've just cut the first 2 minutes.

  • Hey. You're a tool.

  • explain, please.

  • @corporeal No, no. Not you. You're obviously too damn talented and it's awesome. I'm talking to the dude that had the nerve to criticize that video after watching it.

  • @chrisbr1 but he was right. my double bass is very sloppy.

  • Comment removed

  • I guess if ya can't find someone to play with, then just play with yerself ! NARF !!

  • I really liked the fact that you played all styles of music in the same video... it's impressive to see a guitarist/bassist/drummer who can play so many styles of music with so much talent. Great job !

  • its green screened! lol i was like WTF HOW!!! then around 4:00 the guy on the right looks RELY greenscreened

  • you can see the outline of the green screen around the drums due to poor lighting

  • who gives a fuck about the screening, his skills are sick.

  • Great job

What program did you use I have Vegas pro 9 and I can get split screen for each part but I like the way it looks as though you're all in the same room simultaneously

    Again super job

  • love the bass

  • Awesome!

  • damn those gadgets

  • youre a beast

  • awsome love it at 2:04

  • Is that one guy playing all the instraments... lololo... only kidding,

fantastic work of art... really like it A-LOY

  • Very clever

  • Just wanted to tell you how amazing your song/concept is!

I'm a one man band from Northern, MI.

    Love this!

  • Excelent video man!, and you are incredible skilled!

  • omg

    that´s crazy

how long must i learn to play like this ???

    OMG

  • at least 5 years its takes lots of dedication. but hey you might be a quick learner you might learn fast

  • @jegelejeke I agree on the 'at least five years part'... but my five years of dedication haven't got me the amount of skills on three instruments that this guy has on each one. :)

Just saying, Dave is talented, but mostly skilled. I don't think woke up one day and played this well. :)

  • This guy is pure talent, RAW TO THE BONE BABY!

  • way awesome

  • Yepp i'm seconding furor93 on this one! You're totally a real musician! Damn!

  • Dude, not only do you know to play 3 instruments extremely well, you can use computers pretty damn good too :) really good vid

  • made my day well night but anyway loved it keep playing

  • Comment removed

  • very tool like, bad ass

  • When the bass part came in, I knida laughed. x3 Made my day/night. :P

  • Genial

  • I enjoy this video a lot, best new year gift for me

  • haha i like it all and those were some pretty cool camera angles you got, btw before the slap bass came in i was about to turn it off so i say that the bass was the best part

  • look its his brothers

  • all i got to say is damn

  • Skills!

  • really cool

  • if black sabbath was a grunge band this is what it would sound like pretty wicked man some heavy talent u are baring there

  • hahaha. now that is Talent!!

  • I'd like to have your hands Dude! \m/

  • You need the brian friend, not the hands since you already got functioning hands i guess, since you can type on a keyboard ;)

  • you actually look exactly like a friend of mine who can play all the instruments too!!! good work!!!

  • OMG...This is soooo cool!! LOL
