The first 60 seconds of this tune is just simply a master class. OMG, it brings back so many memories of when it was clean cut bad to the bone, M..mmmelody. ;p
OMG, this came to my mind yesterday, and i started looking for it, and because it's an instrymental I didn't hold out much hope, you're a god respec' is due. Fantabulocious post. I love youtube.
summer vibes boyz... bring em back... you just cant bat uk garage.. yeah grime dubsteps, same with funky,,, gets a bit repetitive... all good but gets a bit crazee after a while.. You skank to garage all nite long...
was looking for this tune for 5 years and never found it ! accidently clicked on a video and now here i am :D ! thumbs up if u think thats GODS DOINGS :D
@1990sRaver@Ghettographer def missin them days 96-99 my high scool days aswell, big influence on my music career at the mom, dt, ckp, psg, viper, no doubt at the peak back then...only jam a 2010 dj knows is, monsta boys sorry or, il bring u flowers!! :S
yes, if you look at the label that is displayed on this video there is two versions and the one that is playing is the 99 version and the one you're after is the original. i agree, the bass version is better
i remember my raving days; friday night it was collecium a one night stand, sat night cream of da crop at leisure lounge and sun night twice as nice at collys... proper vibes
This was wen the garage scene was about the vybes and havin a good time, no one got stabbed or killed, too many pricks ruined what was a bangin genre of music.
i remember going out have a great time and not haveing a ruck at the end of the night... 2000 onwards was down hill because of one group of people... SO SOLID CREW! fucked it up for every one by introducing the chavs to garage music
Colosseum sorely missed. Used to love the place and always a wicked vibe in there. The late Charlie Brown as well as Sparks, Kie, Creed, DT, PSG, CKP etc used to rinse the set with Jason Kaye, Martin Larner, Ruffcut Lloyd, Stepz, Pied Piper and many others.
Sadly UKG is dead now and has given way to mouthy chav gangsters who wanna talk about their endz and killing each other and saying braaaaappppppp. Very sad, but I still have memories of 1997-2002 when UKG was at its best.
Mate couldnt agree with you more took the words from my mouth exactly my views on the matter. Still got loads of old tapepacks with all the boys that you said, such a shame garage had to go down the path it went it lost the energy of the music and focused more on who was on the mic. Grime is what we are left with a pathetic excuse for whatever its sposed to be pure shite but as you said i still have the memories and tunes and can say i was there when proper garage was about!
colleseum were the fucking days - i used leave at 6am and walk to victoria those days , and i was happy to do so. i remember when masterstepz dropped his richie dan dubplate version of this at exposure. fuck i miss those days!

@1990sRaver bruv. i know what you mean. there was a raw vibe to the place. and dark corners and low ceilings, with smoke hanging around. but the feeling was electric. miss those days bad. makes me wanna pull out my mosh shirt and ysl jeans lol

Yeah, I blame BBC 1Xtra for that. The station was cool for the first 3 years until they got rid of alot of the good DJs to become more Americanized
