Problem with the anime is it drifted TOO FAR from the canon. I mean the strongest being in the entire universe Cain wasn't even mentioned once. Nor were the other apostles. :/ Pandemonium crashing into Arad was also ignored. Bakal's war and the "Gae Bolg" developed to counter him didn't take part in the anime.

GSD wasn't blind and killing his enemies by literally "sensing them to death."

Even if they didn't bring in the 4 weapon masters. Where the hell was Aganzo? >:O

Thats because Sky Tower goes from Arad to Empyrean and between Arad and Empyrean is the Middle Ocean. Play the game or something you'll get it.

In the game, the story tells you that it allows adventurers to move from Arad to Empyrean and back. Also if you play as a Gunner the beginning comic shows that he falls in the water from Empyrean, in which he falls thru and when he swims out, he falls "upward" into Arad (which he calls the underworld) that water he fell from is the water between Arad and Empyrean. Its also the water that makes the higher lvls look underwater, because it is.

It's just too... anime. You know, it exhagerates on physical humor, doesn't have a very funny storyline(and it really tries to), you get tired of it quickly and all the characters are pretty cliché. I mean, nice-guy hero who always gets in trouble, guy who's ultra horny who gets everyone ELSE in trouble, tomboy girl who "is a strong and independent woman". It's just a really big cliché, though I have to admit that there's worse :v

the anime is actually based off a real game. its a multiplayer beat em up called dungeon and fighter. japanese version is called arad senki and the north american website is now open although the english version hasnt come out yet. kinda looking forward to it
