I'm disappointed by the racist comments here about the black rapper. To say you don't like his style is one thing - but his colour is something that he cannot naturally change.
I think the point being made is that he just a 'plant' to make the video more 'American' and 'commercial'. Was a 'black' guy necessary to make the video and music work? I've heard a few good Ukrainian white rappers. But they are not 'avant garde' enough for the video I guess.
Ukraine finally gains independance and this is the result? I showed a few videos to my parents originally from Ukraine and they were upset by the 'stripper' aspects of many songs. That is progress, get naked and hump.
lol so true Stefan. Ukraine needs to keep growing from its own culture, and not adopt the overly sexual videos here in America. I do like the rap part of it but not the girls dancing like its a club. They don't even fit into the words of the song or the tempo of the music. Just makes me sick to see what could of been a nice video but made into a bitter/sweet one. Sigh. I'm a Ukrainian who does care.
UTVfan, that is probably the most racist thing I've ever heard. How poorly educated and limited in our world views do you have to be in order to say something like that? I suppose that the modern sentiments of cosmopolitanism and liberalism passed by you. That's rather unfortunate... what is even more unfortunate is that your thoughts are probably shared by many Ukrainians. Now what's funny is that you are writing in english, the language of the country whose influences you are so opposed to.
"i rele rele loved this song when i heard it for the first time when i was in ukraine (on the radio) bt now i saw the video and i hate this song because of the black guy!!! SLAVA UKRAINI UKRAINA DLYA BILUH!!!!"
First, Ukrainians allowed the Russians to Russify their country and culture, and now they are letting America do it with the disgusting likes of rapper 50cent, which was the obvious model for the black rapper in this video. Shame, shame, shame on you, Natalka!!!
Nice video. It is time that Ukraina caught up with the times and started producing quality music videos with good talent in the Ukrainian language. It is time that Ukraine stopped living in the shadows of Russia and Poland.
it's not true, most of people in central and eastern Europe are tolerant but black people who come here ale very laud they don't have manners and they don't understand that Europe is different to USA if the have no manners, no respect to older people, no respect to history so don't be surpristed that someone tells that they don't need darkies
But our responsibility is to consider them Ukrainians and help them to become an equal part of our society. I have much more respect to the black people who are lerning Ukrainian and honestly working, then to those "ukrainians" who are speaking foreign language and cursing our country, its history and its people.
thats amazing i so agree people who are trying to learn the great languge that arent even ukranian give them respect rather than the people who were born in Ukraine and say its a crappy country BE PROUD OF YOURSELF AND YOUR COUNTRY slava Ukraini
On the other hand, there are people too, who speak Ukrainian, and are saing that they love their contry, but they hate others who belong to different nations, even though they speak or learn Ukrainian!
True. If someone learns Ukrainian and uses it and lives in Ukraina then that is great. I have more respect for them then for those yanichary and those contemporary Ukrainian artists who have chosen to russify themselves. You know the types.
Perhaps as more and more Ukrainians come to the west and see how much they have been betrayed by and lied to by soviet Russian commie propaganda then they may experience a personal spiritual epiphany. Compare and contrast and then ask yourself this question: why the hell did we have to russify ourselves? Did it really benefit us in the end? Druzhba narodiv indeed.
Yeah, history of our nation is mostly a very sad story. Free minded people, but weren't really free. Were strong enough to create our own democratic country, but never really did. And in the end, not so long ago 1/3 of population was murdered, and in their place we got our Muskovite 'brothers.'
Sad, no other words. But still, we're alive and capable of changing our Mother Ukraine in the way our ansestors were seeing Her.
I think, if we can do something to make our Mather Ukraine a better country, then we must do it. Even here in USA we can (and have to) enfluence her development.
My respect brother. I live in USA for 7 years only. I'm doing little things to make Ukraine known here in America, and will try to do more...
I hope I will live long enough to go back to Ukraine to do something I would love to. It's influence young people (in a good way)through the music. But who knows, maybe I won't live that long :))) No one lives forever...
Yes. That is so true. My husband is a American Army officer. The first time I came to USA. It was so amazing. Believe me, many in Ukraine hate Russia and everything it stands for.
I know. I was in Ukraine many times, east as well as west and in my father's village. They never thought highly of Russia, the USSR or communism. Now that the USSR has fallen and many Ukrainians can now travel abroad to Europe and North America to see life for themselves they can remind themselves of the wasted years back home and the "proletarian paradise" that socialism promised but never delivered.
ukr1, you're no better than muskovy rasists, or german nazi. It's good you don't live in Ukraine anymore. The best place for you to live is Moskovy though. Learn some muskovian firs, for they gonna bit you up preatty bad for not spiaking "great muskovian language".
YOU"RE RIGHT! I think if some black man lives here, in Ukraine, if he makes something good for our country, he has right to live there and being Ukrainian!
It's good there are Ukrainians who don't look at the skin color, but respect those who came to our country and made their lifes starting from 0. Language is not a problem, for they will improve it each day they live by speaking with other Ukrainians.
i rele rele loved this song when i heard it for the first time when i was in ukraine (on the radio) bt now i saw the video and i hate this song because of the black guy!!! SLAVA UKRAINI UKRAINA DLYA BILUH!!!!

Чудове відео. Дуже подобається образ Карпи, виглядає дуже невинною у білому одязі, все супер і в тему :).
Також прикольний акцент у темношкірого :), прям як Чорнобривці.
