Ok, do you have anywhere I can get some really cool one? I tried to install the s2w Crimson 2.0 and s2w Dark Crimson S25R but they dont work. Also, does it matter what manilla (whatever that is) and windows mobile I have?...I know I have WM6.5 but i have no idea to check the manilla...is it the ROM version?...if so then I have 2.01

@MonteLSV6 check out xda and smartphonejunkie. and as for the manila version thast is needed for me to tell you what version that you are on and what themes will work... just go to the settign tab on touchflo and scroll down to the bottom and it will say the version number there

Well, I went to the settings tab, went to all settings, then System, Device information and it says the ROM version is 2.01.573.3

@MonteLSV6 you go to settings than scroll down and it will tell you the sense version that you are on...its there and dont have a device to show you on so hope that helps...

So, I'm at the home screen with the clock okay, I go to the setting tab all the way to the right, and I scroll down as far as i can go, but there's no version number or anything. The last thing there is is the "About" sub tab. If i scroll down past that, its just empty space. I have US Cellular's HTC TP2. Just got it 2 weeks ago. It has HTC Sense instead of Touchflo3D

@MonteLSV6 under settings there will be a sense or touchflo stats... sounds like you have sense personally brudda.... if the weather is built into the clock your sense... dont know what else to tell you

@AgUiLa4EvR no this will not work on your device, you will need to use a gsm rom for the touch pro 2. you kind find those at smartphonejunkie and xda-devlopers... i would recommend going with either the gsm energy or the gsm firestorm rom for the touch pro 2 for t-mobile. and to install you can find the guide for installing custom roms and unlocking your device both at the same sites mentioned above. would link but cant in responses.

I dont know how they unlock the phone. but I would like to upgrade the windows from 6.1 to 6.5

@MrGkila1 yes to flash your phone to a custom rom you have to unlock..... unlocking the phone only makes it capable of flashing to a custom rom by giving you a custom bootloader.

i have a sprint touch pro2, so it's also CDMA. i actually haven't unlocked mine yet. however, i am very interested in this specific ROM. it looks very nice, and i have looked at many different ones. if i wanted to get this on my TP2, would i just go use the HSPL-UNLOCKER, then just install this ROM from the forum you have in the description box? is there anything else i need to do?

once yu unlock you can flash the custom rom yes.... and the newest version is now juicy r-10 if not mistaking and you should like it... i actually like mr.x better at this time. you can find videos on the mr.x roms both manila 2.1 and 2.5 by clicking on my name and looking through recent videos.

naw to disable the old messenger you will need zenyee disable htc messaging cab... you will find under that name at SPJ, ppcgeeks, and xda.

I gave you 5 stars, good review. Near the end you said there are cabs to get rid of the lag while text messaging. I've looked everywhere on xdadev and ppcgeek and none of them have a cab. Where can I get it? The lag is awful and I tend to press the wrong person to text and then it freezes up. It's annoying and I want to get rid of it. Thanks.

hey dash...I installed the juicy rom on my sd card and when I press "enterbootloader"...I get red,green,blue and white colors...and it has these letters and numbers on it,and its stays like that for awhile...does that mean its processing or am I doing something wrong?

no activesync is made by microsoft for a pc and not a mac.... you will need to do from card since only supports pc... also you will need to unlock your phone as well and that has to be done from a pc as well.

well theres much newer version but are just more stable and have bugs worked out of them as well as landscape support now... they dont compare at all since the leaked stock 6.5 but adds sense. the juicy series is a leo based manila 2.5 rom

@mizzmocha78 No, once it is unlocked, it is unlocked until you re-lock it.

So all you need to do is backup anything you want to keep (contacts / settings), activesync your phone, and run the exe for the new rom.

all electronics have bugs, there hasnt been one released ever without.... have you never found a glitch in a computer or a game before? nothing can be perfect but i can tell you cusotm roms are going to be a lot more stable than stock as long as your not using leo aka manila 2.5 which still isnt released and is in extreme beta since had to be ported over. i think your standards are just too high to tell the truth

yes all the roms are free and you will need the gsm versions found over at xda-developers. yes you have instant messegers and they go through the data package as do many features so data is a must on any smartphone. it depends they are totally different, one runs windows, and the other is linux based.

a hard reset wouldnt do that... you did flash a sprint,verizon, or telus touch pro 2 correct? and a hard reset wouldnt do that to your device... jsut reflash... the silence rom is great and havent had any troubles with it period.

Hi can you tell me what's the best rom to get for the Touch Pro 2 Verizon if you want an exact copy of HTC Sense (that's on the HD2) without any bugs. Is this it?

no not even close, this is a leo rip from the hd2 and pretty buggy still... to hasve senseui i would use the silence rom (currently on and love) the mightyrom (very high on my list) or the mr.x rom which are all manila 2.1 roms that are super stable and snappy. they of course come equipped with wm 6.5 and all that flashy jazz :)

I'm surprised at the speed of SenseUI, as this is the same one on the HD2 and the TouchPro CPU is very outdated. I don't think we'll see a super smooth WM phone for a long time, not even the HD2 is smooth enough IMO.

I've got a Touch Pro 2 Sprint and after chaning ROMs the g-sensor doesn't work, has anyone had a problem like this? everything else pretty much seemed fine.

never had or seen the problem. go to settings tab on touchflo and than under there you will see an option for g-sensor. under there try to recalibrate and see if that fixes the issues... and also after you flashed did you hard reset it and take the battery out for about a minute?

this rom is cdma only, you could go to xda and ge ta gsm version of custom roms... you will need to hardspl unlock your phone and can find tutorials on that and flashing there.

i see you have visual voicemail installed on it.. could you get it to work out the earpiece? I can only get it to play vm's out the speaker... also i get those text messages that are supposed to be invisible that trigger the vvm program :(

this rom is not good. Mightyrom is much better and faster. On this rom when you open your keyboard you have blank screen. Basically most feature will not appear when you open the keyboard.

it is good and theres no landscape for the homescreen but for text, email, apps, games, etc it does work. you need to get the facts right before replying, this is a leo rom thus the user knows that there isnt homescreen support, mightyrom isnt leo but it is manila 2.1 which came stock on the phone thus why more stable since it is native to the tp2 and the leo isnt. so these are two totally different roms that cant be compared in the way that you are doing

Yeah, obviously because Manila 2.5/Sense doesn't allow for landscaping since it was designed for the HTC HD2 (Leo). But that's only when you're using HTC Sense; while in any other application, landscape works. Same goes for texting and email writing within the Sense UI.
