Sadly, Alan passed away peacefully on 15th January 2012 after a long illness, he managed to reach his 84th birthday on 11th January.. He never lost his marvellous voice. Gone to the great Celestial choir! They needed a new baritone!! RIP my wonderful Dad! xx

Nice to know that vocal music runs in the family! - I never picked up on oboe like my father (Gordon Poole) or piano like my uncle (Clifford Poole) - who are your father's cousins. But I did sing -- Duncan Poole

This is my Dad!
How proud am I to have a Dad with such a fantastic voice!
Although he does not sing much these days, his voice is still there even at the grand age of 81!
