  • Very nice video!! I've been there aswell, but then at night. It was pitch black, but we had a big LED light on our camera... very spooky, check out my wolfsschanze video as well!!

  • @peiper1ss

    sacred? more like damned

  • Ok, I get it Hitler was a total ass and thank God he got beat down, but I do wish that all of the thigns such as this, and the Berghof and maybe even the bunker had been preserved for their historical value.

  • @JamesTClement

Just so you know, the Wolfsschanze was destroyed by the Reich, not due to damage by Stauffenberg's assassination attempt, but to prevent it from falling into Soviet hands and control upon the German retreat. The Polish Army cleared out most of the surrounding minefields as well.

Even if it had not, however, I can imagine that the Allies or Soviets would have taken great pleasure, upon their arrival, of emptying some of their RDX or TNT supplies inside this compound.

  • @Zen5012 Cool, fair enough then, thank you for the info.

  • @JamesTClement

What's really amazing is how damn well built the thing was. One of the main bunkers took 8 TONS of TNT to cause significant damage.

I suppose Hitler had high hopes for the complex had the invasion of the USSR during operation Barbarossa gone a little differently.

  • i was there, it's very worthy to go there!

  • for me its rastenburg

  • wir waren vor 2 wochen dort,

ziemlich interessant, der ort des attentats auf hitler durch staufenberg,

in den bunkeranalagen hausen milliarden mücken ;o)

  • i was there in july this year. i have to say that the bunkers look quite small at pic oder videos.

they will be much bigger if you stand in front of them

  • powinno być kętrzyn...

  • Fascinating, I want to go there on my next trip to Poland, interesting history.

  • I agree. Very interesting. It would be wild to check it out.

  • Yes it´s fascinating, I visited it last week and it was great - especially to discover the bunkers with a flashlight !!!

  • Thanks for putting this up ... I wish I could go see it in person.

  • The Wolfs Lair gives off an eerie feeling I think. Thanks for showing it to us, my friend, oh bye the way where is part two?.
