Very nice video!! I've been there aswell, but then at night. It was pitch black, but we had a big LED light on our camera... very spooky, check out my wolfsschanze video as well!!
Ok, I get it Hitler was a total ass and thank God he got beat down, but I do wish that all of the thigns such as this, and the Berghof and maybe even the bunker had been preserved for their historical value.
Just so you know, the Wolfsschanze was destroyed by the Reich, not due to damage by Stauffenberg's assassination attempt, but to prevent it from falling into Soviet hands and control upon the German retreat. The Polish Army cleared out most of the surrounding minefields as well.
Even if it had not, however, I can imagine that the Allies or Soviets would have taken great pleasure, upon their arrival, of emptying some of their RDX or TNT supplies inside this compound.

What's really amazing is how damn well built the thing was. One of the main bunkers took 8 TONS of TNT to cause significant damage.
I suppose Hitler had high hopes for the complex had the invasion of the USSR during operation Barbarossa gone a little differently.

The Polish place name is Ketrzyn. The misspelling should be corrected.... and it will never again be called Rastenburg.

Yes it´s fascinating, I visited it last week and it was great - especially to discover the bunkers with a flashlight !!!

The Wolfs Lair gives off an eerie feeling I think. Thanks for showing it to us, my friend, oh bye the way where is part two?.
