Loved hang time. The first season was good and the second season was better and season four was okay, I didn't much like seasons five and six though. Overall I think my favourite season was season three. I liked Vince, Teddy, Danny and Michael together. I wish they would relese it on DVD.
Hey there, I LOVE Season 1 of Hang Time, to me, I always liked Sam as the Team Manager and Mary Beth was great as a cheerleader and plus, there were some great episodes from Season 1, but then, when Peter Engel Producer of Saved by the Bell and California Dreams took over, the show had a HUGE Makeover, but Season 2 was cool, but the last 2 seasons were TERRIBLE, Season 3 was pretty good and Season 4 was OK and plus, Reggie Theus was a BETTER coach than Dick Butkus, IMO
wow this was really realy differerent i think i saw1 or 2 eps of season 1 and wasn't over keen thennseason 2 came o.k. glammed up but it worked i loved this show after that! i think it was right to change the characters by season 2 Chris, and co did not seem to have much fun or life in them neither did earl or others but chris was good loooking
I remember liking the first season and being pissed when they retooled it. I was like "why is that fat fuck on a basketball team"? (anthony anderson, hahah)
I used to love watching things like Hang Time, California Dreams and Saved by the Bell at the weekend when I was a teenager. These shows were much better than the rubbish that's on at the weekends now. Thanks for uploading. This show brings back a lot of good memories.
Hahaha, I used to have some of the same classes as Christian back at Serra HS during the late-90s. I think I was one of the few classmates who knew he was a working TV actor on the side. Was even a bigger trip seeing him again on TV a couple years after graduation in an episode of MTV's 'Undressed', lol. I thought he coulda gone places...
what .....a........show !!!! ... I mean you have Chick Hearn saying "He put Alonzo Mourning in the popcorn machine!! ".........classic...I think I loved the NBA back then even more than now.... you would watch this show and top it off with NBA inside stuff !! ...............simple as that
I couldn't help but notice the series was produced by ROXIE wenK eVANs. This could remind that NFL QB DonoVAN McNABb would marry college sweetheart RaquEL-Ann Sarah "ROXIE" Nurse, of HAMilTON, Ontario, on the summer solstice 8 years later (6/21/03). The JULY 14, 2003 edition of Johnson Publishing's "Jet" magazine carried the story, which could remind of BASTILLE Day; RONALD & ERNIE Isley were on the cover. That McNabb married someone named NURSE could be interpreted as his marrying his mother
ROXIE wenK eVANs is urelated to RAQUEL McNabb or 11th grade 1988 or any JUDGING RAQUELs or the WENdy's Old Fashioned Hamburger chain--that's despite Donovan McNabb listing classic NEW ORLEANS (voodoo capital) dish, RED BEANS & RICE as his favorite in interviews. McNabb "married his mother" since WILMA CHARlene McNabb (CAMPbell's CHUNKY Soup commercials) was a pediatric nurse by profession. The CHAR start of CHARlene is unrelated to Lake PontCHARtrain flooding NEW ORLEANS post-KATrina in 2005.
WILMA McNabb coupled with "Hang Time" being set at fictional DEERing High in INDIANA is unrelated to the "animal people" theme associated with athletic black guys like Donovan McNabb, sometimes expressed as BUCK. Nor is Donovan McNabb's Mt. Carmel High School coach, FRANK Lenti related to the FRANK who expressed a liking for VENISON & the TV series BUCK Rogers in the 25th Century" back in the early 1980s. The show starred Erin GRAY (like alien GREY) as Col. WILMA DEERING, mirroring WILMA McNabb
Thinking of Chesapeake, VA born Alonzo HARDING Mourning N the episode + Donovan McNabb could remind of fellow mediocre black NFL QB, Michael dWAYNE Vick (born N nearby Newport News, VA) but not the History teacher from NC 125 & G'burg--who, like McNabb was said to have a horse face. While McNabb was coached by FRANK LENTi at Mt. Carmel, Vick was coached by FRANK BEAMer at Virginia Tech. Combined, it could remind of a FRANK "LENDING" someone else's life, while the victim was attacked by ray BEAM
Virginia's HAMpton Roads region was a hotbed for pro sports stars (Mourning, Iverson & Vick), but FRANK BEAMer is unrelated to the Tim Reid series "FRANK's Place", set in voodoo capital NEW ORLEANS. Reid (b. in NORFOLK; 12/19/44) graduated NORFOLK State in 1968. Nor is the WHITNEY address there associated with ARTHUR related to one-time staunchest Vick supporter ARTHUR Blank of Home Depot and Atlanta Falcons ownership fame. A # ending 66-8893 like calendar years 1988 & 93. WHITNEY @ Scope in 87
While Whitney was @ Norfolk Scope on 8/11/87 just ahead of the 87-88 school year & NBA season, it's unrelated 2 REGGIE WAYNE THEus (not a man, but THE man?) starring as coach Bill FULLer on "Hang Time" and REGGIE WAYNE MILLer playing his entire NBA career with the INDIANA Pacers beginning in 1987 or fictional DEERing High being in INDIANA. The 1987 NBA draft was held June 22--no doubt a 68th birthday for somebody's grandma. INDIANA racer theme + "He hasn't recovered yet" reminds of Whitney in 87
I wish they hadn't gotten rid of Hilary Tuck after season 1, she was so sweet, but I'm glad they kept Daniella Deutscher till the end of the series..not so much for Megan Parlen I thought she was a snob.
@HVPhilips Agreeeeed. I think about the types of shows we kids had access to on regular tv during the week and especially on the weekends and compare that to the current day where kids basically have to depend on certain cable channels for shows.I remember when you could turn on a couple of the regular channels in the morn and find cartoons to watch before school and when you got home you had more stuff to watch(The disney afternoon)
back in 98 there was a channel here in Brazil that would show California Dreams and Hang time on fridays, one after the other. that was pretty much the only reason friday was my favorite day of the week, since I was too young to go out, haha.
Yeah, now the shows are all about "superstars", wizards and other redicolous stuff. Anyway, I think "Good Luck Charlie" for instance was a pretty good shot to get back to the 90s TGIF style.
does anyone know hu sings dis song?? i bin tryna download it for ages?? n btw - the 3rd season was kinda gd as well as the 1st, but all the rest didnt compare.
