Dorothy Maguire is my favorite on-screen mom, and Chuck Connors is my favorite on-screen dad. I only knew about Chuck Connors from his cameo in Old Yeller. I had no idea he was in a show called the "Rifleman" until a few weeks ago. Awesome show! I've been missing out.

I was a child and I saw this film oh idk over 100 times already. I was just adumb little kid I had no idea in came out in the 50's. Hell alot of disney movies I have on vhs are the older generation films.

I'm only 30 so Chuck was acting well before my time, but he is one of my favs. Especially in the Rifleman. I have every episode on my dvr & I still watch it every day at 5pm-6pm est on WHT (367 on directv) which is one of those crazy religious channels. Starz used to air it but they stopped & luckily WHT picked it up. Great show..Great actor..
