@15redheads There are plenty of places to buy lowers. I can find three places right mow to get one for $50.00. Saving money is not the point of this project.

hmm looks like no problem with the 2.5" face mill, even though you are over spec on the machine. I looks like you are just jogging these routines?
I am in the process of collecting the tooling and parts I need for my x3 conversion. Are you using mach3 for your mill?
