I was at this concert and the reason why the video seems out of sync is because it was re-dubbed in the studio - just like some parts of the Budokan album.

wish it could've been recorded with the same quality as the MSG 30TH ANNIVERSARY DVD!! this concert would've been huge!! such a shame ,Schenker didn't get all the support he & Band mates  deserved to come up with much better DVD concerts!!

@krevice yes, I agree with you,Holmes would've been perfect for Schenker,but Holmes wanted to more than what he was doing here which is understandable coming from Ted Nugent's excellent line up ,but he left after this tour & only sang on 1 song on the Built to Destroy album!

& he did worked on some projects with other guitarists but didn't go anywhere!!

is just too bad,he is a great singer & performer,I saw him with Nugent years ago!!

@AXEFLYERFV He actually left before the end of the tour. Middlesborough was done with Tony Verity doing vocals and some guitar (I think) from behind the PA

I LOVE this song w/ Derek singing the lead vocals on it.

I really think they could have gotten a big hit on radio if they recorded this song w/ Derek on vocals and released it as their first single.

Ha - I was at this concert. I remember the guys with the video cameras dashing around all over the place. I'd forgotten, though, that this vocal was taken by Derek St Holmes. Was this the year that Vandenberg were the support act?

this is a classic...typical schenker song that had all the chops but got lost in all the promotional game of the music bizz...this should have gone hit status in america but most people in america have their head up their ass when it comes to good hardcore rock.

Yeah, they'd rather tune into Britney Spears retards. I'd like to give her the palozz, but that's about it. I'd wear a condom, heck, I'd likely put on two! Getting back to the music, Schenker would never play those record company politics games. And yes, it would have helped to get rid of Barden on vocals and hire St. Holmes permanently. Great voice. He might have been able to sing some of Bonnet's stuff, too.
