  • beautiful work man. how did your prof and classmates reacted to it?

  • i really enjoyed that. and the sigur ros track is so hypnotic. thanx. great work.

  • I love the retro look. I specifically got a bolex from an antique store for getting this sort of look for a certain feature-length film I'll make -TAGSS- . It's a Zoom Reflex Automatic k1 {1963}. Am I right in presuming I'll get similar results to this? Should I get a different model, and what one do you use?

  • Great stuff, man. I usually hate student films with a passion, but this generally managed to avoid the pretention and worn-out concepts that make them such headache-givers. Beautifully shot, and NYC, beautiful city of course. ;)

  • yall tripping balls

  • Nice work! Kodak or Fujifilm?

  • @klonijn It says Bolex bro.

  • @miguelangelhavasu I'm inquiring about the film stock used. Of course it's shot on a Bolex camera. You must have misunderstood my comment.

  • I take it they didn't let you use a filter for the fluorescent lights. I think the blue actually kind of works for that shot anyway ;)

  • Check out my film, In George's Cave on my channel page. I also used a bolex :-D

  • gotta love sigur ros

  • definitely not.

  • lol...

  • Great job, the bolex is such a handy camera. what film stock did you use? Check out my short "The Longing" shot on 7231 with the bolex.

  • Really nice film...i loved the unconventional framing...and vanilla sky soundtrack can never go wrong. Nicely done.

  • Very good job, love the colour range in the scenes & nicely finished - well done! Please look at my Bolex short film effort called: On the Loose

which we shot in London, UK 2004

  • good job

  • I really liked that transition where you went from the fridge to the door, and the part where he's about to get pushed off by cuts to his bed. Smoothly done. I really liked the music in it too. It really created that "deep feeling". I didn't really get it, though. Is it one of those 'think optimistic, move on, there's more to life' message at the end? haha

  • i dont get it....

  • Yes! Goddamnit 800x better than my Freshmen project. And why, who's that attractive young chap who lives in the closet? hahaha. awesome.
