Hmm does look like Sambo has influence on Sanda but lets keep in mind that sambo comes from kung fu, judo, and jujitsu and possibly martial arts as well...Its amazing how these martial arts build on each other to improve one another

Very very interesting. how old is the text?  is it of military influence. It makes sense a Sambo/Sanda influence since if you think about it the Communist connection.

I think you misunderstood me, RE your teacher, I didn't say anything bad about him, I said your history is based upon what your teacher told you. Is that bad?

My teacher gave me history too. But I looked around to find other stuff and in some cases found out my own teacher's history wasn't correct.
