@arkansastrash320 He died in 2009.... I don't know about the cancer but he comited suicide because he new he couldn't cope in jail so he went to his last still setup and drank the first shot glass full of the product of his 'shine still witch is methane... that being said it killed him...

Remember as a juror, you are above the law. Don't let the judge or any other member of the jury influence your verdict. I would have hung the jury until hell froze over for Popcorn. The law and the defendant are on trial, if you believe the law is wrong or unconstitutional you have every right to vote against the law. Counties in Tennessee hand pick juries and get the verdict the government wants. Demand a jury turnover in your county and use the law to protect our families.

I think this says something about how a person's popularity can't always just be kept out of their trial. Many, many times more people wanted this man to be free than not, and the only way that would get real consideration would be if the jury had prior knowledge of his personality. It shouldn't even have gotten as far as a jury, a local magistrate, a county judge, state justice and supreme court circuit justice should have stood up and reprimanded the cop that wedged his underwear over it.

I would have hung the jury until hell froze over. The jury system is proof we are not a democracy, a majority can't convict you. Revenue is what this is about, you can huff gasoline and buy it legally, as long as you pay the tax on it.

I hope the Jury can sleep at night. The law as well as the defendant is on trial, as a juror, if your think the law is unconstitutional or wrong, you can vote not-guilty.
