@tardis1996 Okay all admit, I COMPLETELY agree with you. But don't be so hard on Moffat, he is known to put clever twists a story. I feel that maybe the doctor was trying so hard to avoid thinking about the past and all he has lost that he has to cover it up with a cheezy persona, but once something gets him to crack, all that personality locked away comes out well... it will be very interesting to see how moffat handles that.

there is no "best" doctor. there are favoured but there really cant be a best because with each regeneration he's a new man with a new personality. sayng "best doctor" is like a school teacher saying "you're my favorite 5th period class". as for the writers, well... thats a different story.

Seriously? Davis wrote crap like Love and Monsters and you still prefer him to the guy who wrote Silence in the Library two parter, Blink and The Time of Angels two parter? I'm not saying Davis was bad but he is not as good as Moffat, I admit there have been a few weak episodes in the last series but that's mainly because he is getting a lot of set up out of the way so he can create a continuous arc for 11. Also watch The Doctors Wife if you don't think the new stuff is emotional

@tardis1996 that's the biggest lie ever I'll admit Russel t Davis was a great writer you don't seem to be giving moffat any credit on and the consistence that there has been so many writers and doctors they bring their own voice to the show so technically everytime the doctors changed obviously it won't be the same it will be different and unique

Ok i dont have a problem with Smith but he is the earth of which I walk upon compared to David.

David brought an emotion to the show that can make you cry, laugh, scream, be terrified all at once. No matter how many time you watch certain episodes your emotions will remain the same.

But Smith is just The Doctor but without the soul of Ten
