1. When I defend them against the drug rumor, I'm not defending THEM so much as I'm defending a PRINCIPLE, namely, that no one, NO ONE, should be accused of something unless there's EVIDENCE.
2. Your second point is absolutely incorrect. I've read articles about them, and not one article I've ever read, NOT ONE, has ever said anything about drugs.
2nd part.....There was ONE article that implied that Ashley was somehow involved with drugs, but that was the National Enquirer, what they call a trash tabloid. MOST of what they print about ANYONE is lies.
And Ashley sued them over that article, and the magazine gave in and admitted they were wrong and had to pay her a lot of money because they were caught lying.
I've seen a lot of web sites which were only talking on the twins and they said that Ashley and MK took drugs. Maybe it's a simple rumor OK but if people say that they take drugs, after "everyone" will believe them. If you say it's finished I can trust you but even if it's the truth, a lot of people won't keep believe that because a rumor stays a rumor !!!

Whether you do it intentionally or not, your statments ARE put-downs. "..it's stupid to have role models like them." "What kind of parents are they to make their children like this?" Oh, I just wanted to tell, that their fans are MAINLY at the age of 10-16. I haven't seen an adult(30yearold) who is going crazy when he/she sees them. But for God's sake HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT they are like this?*smart,close to the family.* ok, you could ask me, how do i know that they're not. BUT you're a fan of them for reasons you don't even know if they're sure. Once you've told me not to believe everything what I've read in the tabloids/magazines.

I think I know why sabrina (Jennifer) thinks they're good role models! Cause she used to be an actress, and she KNOWS how hard that job/life can be, how hard it is to succeed at it and to make the right choices. And I agree with her - they ARE good role models. They're MY role models, and I'm no fool. And neither is my friend (sabrina528). And andidori - you ask sabrina528 how she knows these things? Sabrina's VERY smart. she knows a lot.

Child actors may not work as much as adult actors do; they may not act as well as adult actors do. But they're on the set and they do the scenes. That's why they get a paycheck, like anyone who works at ANY job.
Now, did their parents START them on their careers? Yes, just like EVERY parent who puts their child in school starts THAT child on his/her career.

OMG. I'm so sorry, that you think I don't wanna put them down. I was a huge a really big fan of them. And I still respect them. I just think that they shouldn't be the idols of young chicks because they'll follow them in EVERY way which is quite damaging. I didn't wanna tell that oh, how bad people they are, I just wanna tell that maybe we should ask if we would work that hard, would it be that succesfull as they are.

I dunno, some rumours say that they're not indentical, but look at ex: 01:09. In MY opinion the only differences are their hairs. It's not true. Would you be a fan of them if you haven't seen their films? And wouldn't see them in magazines or about the anrexia stuff? The media and their manager, Rob someone made them famous. andidori: I understand what you're talking about. And my answer is the same - Mary-Kate and Ashley have worked for 21 years to be who they are today. THEY, together with their many, MANY fans, made them famous. If you don't believe it, well, it's easy to believe the worst of people when you're not there to see the work they do every day of their lives.
You have trouble telling them apart. I have no trouble at all. To me they look very different.

Well, thanks for asking, nounours92. Your questions are good questions. Let me try to answer them.
1. When I defend them against the drug rumor, I'm not defending THEM so much as I'm defending a PRINCIPLE, namely, that no one, NO ONE, should be accused of something unless there's EVIDENCE.
2. Your second point is absolutely incorrect. I've read articles about them, and not one article I've ever read, NOT ONE, has ever said anything about drugs.

2nd part.....There was ONE article that implied that Ashley was somehow involved with drugs, but that was the National Enquirer, what they call a trash tabloid. MOST of what they print about ANYONE is lies.
And Ashley sued them over that article, and the magazine gave in and admitted they were wrong and had to pay her a lot of money because they were caught lying.

I've seen a lot of web sites which were only talking on the twins and they said that Ashley and MK took drugs. Maybe it's a simple rumor OK but if people say that they take drugs, after "everyone" will believe them. If you say it's finished I can trust you but even if it's the truth, a lot of people won't keep believe that because a rumor stays a rumor !!!

Sorry, but that's absolutely wrong. Read the issues of 'Marie Claire', 'Nylon', 'Harper's' 'Teen Vogue', 'W', 'Vogue', or any one of DOZENS of others, and you'll see that NOT ONE says anything about drugs, and they ALL say REALLY good things about them.
