In the Tournament of Champions, The players played 2 Scrabble Crossword Games a Piece. In those Crossword Games, letters that fell into the Blue and Pink Squares added their Value to the Jackpot, $500 for a Blue Square and $1,000 for a Pink Square. Stephen Nadeth won the Tournament with a Sprint Time of 13.0 Seconds, and he won the Jackpot, which at the time was worth $49,500. Overall, Stephen was one of Scrabble's Best Champions with a Grand Total of $76,500.
