Ok, i figured out how to fix it, if you get an error similar to 'invalid commands -j and -i' it is most likely because you have the b8 version of redsn0w, so what i did was figure out the link he used in the video to get the b7 version at: htt p:/ /w w w. mediafire (DOT) com /?wj7ax hgtnge0xy2 (no spaces) and replace your redsn0w.exe file with the one in the folder u just downloaded, and now it should work. hope this helped some people :)

I've watched your tutorial 4 times and tried it over and over from scratch but all I ever get when I double click on the shortcut is a message that says "Save user changes?" so i accept then i get an error message saying "Unable to recognise specified IPSW:" followed by the firmware name. What is going on!? >:(

@o0knight0fdawn0o i depense, if it is an app, than u just need to respring the springboard, but if it is an program (not app) u have to reboot. when u install something from cydia it says if u have to respring the springboard or reboot ! u'r welcome ! :-P

ok I just did this and chose to install Cydia as well, but after it finishes Cydia's icon is a white square and it closes teh moment I try to use it, does that mean the version of Cydia included doesnt support 4.2+ yet? (my iPod is a 3G Touch with 4.2.1 iOS installed at the moment if that helps at all)
