I had this watch for less than 2 years. In that time I only wore it once a week for sailing and had to change the strap pins twice due to corrosion and now the watch has failed altogether as the screws in the back plate corroded, allowing water ingress. Very disappointed, so would not recommend this watch to anyone given it is not inexpensive.

Hola Andrés, gracias por el video, pero te confundes con lo de la radiofrecuencia, no es en solo 3 o 4 paises que se recibe, se recibe en bastantes mas, yo diría que en el 60% de paises del hemisferio norte.

En el hemisferio sur creo que no se recibe en ninguno, porque los emisores están en Europa, USA y Japón, yo vivo en España y recibo sin problemas la señal desde Inglaterra y desde Alemania, se acabó para siempre lo de poner el reloj a la hora, saludos.

@cesarbrante Hola!, disculpa por el atraso de en la respuesta peo he estado recuperando de una operación de rodilla que me tiene medio complicado. Dime exactamente que es lo que necesitas del compás y del barómetro y lo arreglamos. Por mientras te comento que el ajuste del barómetro viene de fabrica y esta muy bien calibrado. Si no te convence debes tener acceso un barómetro que se muy preciso, ojala de algún centro meteorológico, con los datos de ese equipo puedes calibrar el tuyo sin problemas

Hola Andres.Soy de Santiago y un día fui a cambiarle la pila a un reloj G-Shock básico al centro de reparaciones que está en providencia,y me quedé viendo los relojes de 2da selección que ahí venden y se me ocurrió preguntar si tenían a la venta alguno de los de un catálogo que también estaba ahí,y para suerte justo tenían el PRG-110T a sólo $110.000 totalmente nuevo!.Estaba a ese precio pk no tenía manual y pk había estado en la vitrina de una tienda.Lo compré enseguida :D (precio real 230.000)

Me ha gustado mucho el vídeo. Yo primero me compre el PRG-100 y quede muy satisfecho excepto por la correa de resina (se rompió en dos años) y eso me obligo a comprar uno nuevo y mejor con mas accesorios, como el PRW-2000 con brújula, barómetro-termómetro y altímetro, con doble pantalla LCD. Pues precisamente una de los cosas que me gusta de este nuevo el reloj radiocontrolado, se actualiza cada día estés donde estés!!!

Both great watches. I wish I could afford a PAW, so many good reviews on it, but my SGW 100-1V is all I really need. Maybe if I feel like spending the money, I will buy a PAW. It looks very cool and love the functions! Both watches have silver tone bezel, compass labels and rubber strap, so they look similar! Casio uses the design on multiple watches..

Estimado, te cuento que en mi correa también dice made in china, pero es en la evilla metálica. No te preocupes que el reloj es íntegramente japonés. Lo que hace esta compañía como muchas otras es que para partes que no tienen tanta importancia las mandan a hacer a china por tema de costos. Te doy un dato, casio no da autorización para fabricar sus productos fuera de Japón, lo mismo pasa con canon y sus cámaras.

@aravenafrancisco Estimado, un gusto en saludarte y gracias por escribir. El reloj lo compré por un amigo que trabaja en Casio ya que cuando lo busque no estaba en ninguna parte. Pero lo que supe es que está en algunas tiendas Casio. Puedes llamar y averiguar eso. Si no lo encuentras avísame y veo con mi amigo, en una de esas lo conseguimos mas barato.

Hello, there is no difference, in japan they put PROTREK (PRG 130) in the band, and in the USA they put Pathfinder (PAW1500) but the watch in both cases in the same. Good Luck,

this watch sucks! this guy is mentioning the good stuff, but truth is as far as i hv experienced, this watch is not prctical. the illumination light is barely 3sec and the alarm is about 10secs only! plus its not even loud enuff.. it is definitely not practical for outdoors especially at night or at extreeme conditions where you need to rely on alarm to keep your timing right

I just got the watch and I have read the manual and I've been trying to find out how to calibrate my barometric and the temperature. Does anyone know how to calibrate it? Do I have to set both the baro and the temp on the off position? I did that and the baro is a bit off but it's still close to the exact. But the temps are off by 10 degrees. Thanks in advance for the help!

i have the Protrek PRG-80YT since 1yr, just after 1yr a 1 month, no fonction is working compass,Barometerm,Altimeter,A­djust and light. Only at the date area is written "OPEN" could someone explain on this. I sent the watch at the delear, they said they can't open the watch???

It's a cool video Andreslens. I used to have PRG-60. Anyways, I have a question for you, is the compass use 3-axis magnetometer or just 2-axis? PRG-60 only used 2-axis thus whenever I was using compass I have to make sure the watch horizontally flat to get an accurate reading. Is it still the same with PRG-130? Hope to hear from you soon.

dude, i have had watches from casio since 6th grade, and i have traveled all over the states with them, it was able to update its signal everywhere i went here, the tower it gets its signal from is in fort Collins Colorado, and it works well within 2000 miles from there, i once got a signal in Italy from it. it was a small chance but it only worked once. but yes i would say that casio is better than they want to fully admit, customers as advertisers are the best kind
