first of all great riding! wanna get into downhill mountain biking, was just wondering what would be a good bike to get me started? any replys would be greatly appreciated.
@TheShredderofsnow Yeah, the song was a bit of an after thought to be honest, there's stuff I'd rather use now! :) Yeah, there's some great trails etc, we're also hitting the big drop at Hawley now instead of the smaller one shown on the vid. Thanks for commenting! :)
@chrisatkinson633 There's not much else at Hawley really. We're doing the bigger drop to the left now which is fun. There used to be more around there but a lot's got knocked down. Swinley isn't far and worth a look too - can easily ride both in a morning or day. You probably know the area pretty well I guess.
@norcorider2005 That's a same there isn't more, I see some XC stuff springing up at Minley and wondered if some of it had spread as its just across the road. I hear they are building in Eversley too, but not sure if its worth the trip yet, I heard they tore down the freeride stuff last year?
You really need to come to mt. Joyce i think it's one of the best tracks in Queensland and if you do go on track number 1 it's called bovine groove if you love that track you will love that one ;)
@TheGrantkaminski I'm actually in the UK. I used to have a Norco A-Line a few years ago and used that as inspiration for my username! :) Thanks for comments!
@wuttrichdh90 It's Hawley Forest and Swinley Forest (the tight n fast is Swinley forest)... Worth a look if you're down around Bracknell (M3) area! :)
please could you tell me the bikes you were using especially the white one. I am looking at getting a whyte 146 s could I do this sort of stuff with that bike.
@mrhenrysos I was on my Trek Session 88 with Totems and my mate was riding a Cannondale but I can't remember the model I'm afraid. It's a freeride bike with a 1.5" headtube... I'll see if I can find out for you. I think it's a few years old now so not sure they make that frame anymore. You could probably do most of this stuff on a Whyte 146 but it'll be a tad unforgiving as it's 146mm travel I believe and more of an XC bike. Best to look at All Mountain bikes for XC and hucking and jumping.

Sweet video. That place looks fun and good ridding. Wasn't digging the song but that doesn't matter since the video was sick.
