  • Bobby Cox mic'd up would have to be aired on HBO lol!

  • The problem here is that the home plate umpire called it a strike with a hand gesture and then changed his mind. You can't do that. I hope Chris Cooper learned something here. The 2nd base umpire got the call right, Furcal was out, but he can't do anything about the incompetence of the home plate umpire. Once he changed his mind and called the pitch a ball, Furcal is automatically safe.

  • WTF kinda call is that?I miss you Bobby Cox!!!That ejection was well worth it. Love it

  • Possibly the stupidest call I've ever seen. I remember watching this game and I could not believe it.

  • @mbatl0907 I'm sure you've seen much worse calls.

  • THis is the Dodgers broadcaster and one of the most respected in baseball history. And even he can see what it is.

  • that was a ridiculous call, he said he was out and called the strike, idk what happened to let them change their minds all of a sudden

  • haha i like that gay little sign they make when they eject someone from their manly game..haha

  • common its very hard to be an umpire

    every umpire is bad

there is no umpire who make all calls 100% perfectly

  • You can't really blame the 2nd base umpire. It's not his fault that his call got reversed. He thought that a strike was called. I think Jair Jurjens got ejected in this game also.

  • @159yankees Yeah...2 innings later

  • @norr4636 actually, I believe it was after the inning was over.

  • @159yankees your right. The Dodgers broadcaster, the second base umpire, and everyone could clearly see what it was. His lame excuse story after the game doesn't add up. (The umpires that is)

  • That was not a strike em out throw em out, the count before the pitch was 3-1, but it was a bad call!!!

  • Cox deserved to be ejected. Cooper explained what happened and Cox still wants to keep dragging shit out. Accept it and move the fuck on.

  • @redverter fact is it was a strike em out, throw em out double play and you can clearly see it. but oh well, im glad bobby got thrown out he had every right to defend that play

  • @redverter shut up bitch strike 3

  • @atlbraves1025 You're right. It was strike three......bitch.

  • I watch this game and the braves won this game and the rest of the weekend series by winning 3 out 4

  • i was at this game, check my video for the official clip !

  • 2nd base umpire didn't get the call wrong--he initially called out, THEN realized that ball 4 had been issued to the batter. He had no choice but to reverse his own call to safe. Had there not been a base on balls, there would've been an out at 2nd. Only one umpire screwed this one up--the home plate blue.

  • @Lanceaferd He didn't need to make his call to safe. you cannot be put out on a ball four call. i am thinking he home plate was more putting out first.

yea they seem to mess it up but there humans

  • @Lanceaferd No...Eric Cooper gestured strike after Jurgens pitch and reverse himself....But you're right...One Ump got it wrong but it wasn't the 2nd base ump

  • up to 150 - 12 more times to be ejected a full season
