  • This idiot seems to think her "freedom" is being encroached upon. Business have the right to make rules, and if you don't like those rules, you have the right to go ELSEWHERE. Apparently this cunt thinks she's special...glad she got what she deserved!

  • @RocktheStageNYC unfortunatly the "MINE" and "ENTITLED" group of people is not constricted to just one generation. Working customer service has taught me that, when anyone in that group of people no matter how young or old spends money on a service, they OWN that service. It also should cater to them.

  • She got owned i bet that bitch came back

  • Here we have a perfect example of the "MINE", "ENTITLED", "WHAT RULES?" generation.

  • I hear about this theater occasionally, and decided to look it up on a whim today. Sheer and complete brilliance, right here.

  • I completely understand not tolerating talking in the theatre, but texting is a bit overboard. You should at least refund their money after you've kicked them out.

  • I get why she was chucked out - for texting when it's clearly against the rules, PLUS you outline exactly what will happen if it's not followed - and I feel no sympathy for her, but can someone tell me why texting in a cinema is so annoying? I can understand talking, but why texting?

  • @Nutz320 The constant glaring white light from the screen while they're texting is distracting.

  • @griceifiable Oh, thanks! Makes sense. Why didn't I think of that?

  • Perfectly owned

  • Have the same problem here, people don't talk on their phones as much, but they do text... and LIGHT UP the ENTIRE theater. Luckily the theater I go to has recently started each movie with a full size add telling people TEXTING IS NOT ALLOWED and they will be asked to leave. They have my business for sure now!

  • @gospyro Bullshit, there's no way a phone is lighting up an entire theatre.

  • @MastaKadaj Still, it's annoying when you've got a bunch of little lights glaring in your eyes when you're trying to enjoy the big light directly in front of you.

  • I love you. If I ever go to Austin, I will go and give you ALL my money. This is hilarious! YOU GUYS ROCK! WOO WOO MAGNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

  • There's a real brain trust at work there! LOL!

  • Greatest trolls ever.

  • God Bless the Magnited States of America!

  • Oh man, gotta love the "You're welcome! Thanks for not coming back to the Alamo, Texter!" ending. Perfect.

  • Location USA. Washington DC, Union Station even if you are the very very first to enter and sit and if you have a empty seat next to you and the movie is sold out and a couple wants to sit down they will kick you out on a whims notice. For that reason alone I no longer visit Union Station in DC anymore.

  • Love it - wish all the cinemas did the same. I asked a young girl to stop talking on her cell phone - she looked at me incredulously and said it was OK she was just talking to her mom!

  • Omg! That was hilarious. Alamo Drafthouse you guys are awesome! Every theater should have this rule!!!!! Nothing annoys me more than some fool sitting using the phone , texting while the film is playing. You guys have my vote and if I am ever your way I will pay your theater a visit :)

  • lets get this shit started

    >women

  • alamo drafthouse theater sound like it sucks

  • >claims to only be using the phone to light the way

    >seconds later argues it's alright to text in theaters

    >admits to texting in all the other theaters

    Nice argument there champ.

  • Bitch deserves a bullet in the mouth.

  • And I will tell everyone what a great place Alamo Drafthouse is and what a great job they do getting rid of slackers like her.

  • They need to show this at every theater around the world before every showing.

    Great work, Alamo Drafthouse!

  • "I'm gonna tell everyone about how shitty you are". Hope you have more than 2.5 million friends.

  • hahaha lol serves her right rules are rules. In the end it's better for everyone because she is never coming back.

  • Lol that chick was an idiot. Lol good for you for kicking her ass out!

  • love how the captions messed with her speech: "MAGNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "yer-you", "It watn't on LOUD", "Anint"..... rotflmsfao!

  • LMAO...."it was too dark"! It's a MOVIE THEATER!

I wish more places would take the same approach to texting or talking in the theater. Every time I go to the movies, it seems like the "movie talkers" have to take a seat right behind me! And since they're typically --not always, but typically --black, I'm too scared to say anything to them! :-p

  • I. Love. It. I have gotten my ass beat for asking someone to stop texting in the theater. We all know it's disruptive, but unfortunately, inbred hicks like that chick are all too common everywhere. In the end, I'm happy to have taken a beating over something so simple, because it helps people keep aware that common decency should still exist. And hey, I made it into the paper the next day, so it was worth it. :)

  • THATS WHY THE ALAMO DRAFT HOUSE IN AUSTIN TEXAS IS THE BEST!!!

IT KICKS OUT SNOTTY ANNOYING BITCHES NO MATTER WHAT!

    GOOD JOB ALAMO DRAFT HOUSE

    (BEST THEATER EVER!)

  • Has anybody noticed that for the censored everybody is against her but for the uncensored everybody is for her.

  • you played this off quite well!!

    nice :D

  • Hahaha! Oh Texas, you so funny!

  • naahh ... hold up . if she aint bothering no one . leave her alone ... bastereds!

  • @HK379 She broke the rules. It's a private establishment so they are totally allowed to kick her the fuck out. How do you know it wasn't bothering anybody? It bothers me but it's just not worth it to complain about usually.

  • tim league is going to get sued

  • why whats the problem shes just texting.... ???

  • @crackbush It's against the rules b/c it can be distracting.

  • Kudos to you Alamo Drafthouse. If I am ever in your state I will be sure to turn off my phone and pay a visit.

  • @DrizzyDrake757

You don't do it because it's rude due to the light from the phone. It's distracting and inconsiderate.

  • @ejbalshan it just a fucking light in a huge movie theather ... if it bothers you so much as the person to lower the brightneess.. your so fucking stupid if you think that kicking someone for texting is righht... fucking dick its called taking care of your buniness look at the movie screen not a fone that shows probably only 10% in the whole fucking theathre...

  • @DrizzyDrake757 You're unable to form complete, coherent sentences. Your argument is invalid.

  • @kuddlekowkills I love you. soulmates forever? No? M'kay I'll just stalk you in a non-threatening way from a safe distance. Keep up the good work.

  • @emilyrunnes *nod* All in a day's work, ma'am.

  • @kuddlekowkills I know what commented on here, months ago but I just expierenced what it's like to be in a movie with a texter. It's annoying and bothers me A LOT. I'm sorry for causing so much trouble for such a simple matter.

  • @DrizzyDrake757 do u know how annoying it is when u watch a fucking horror and right when the good part comes up the person right next to you gets a text and a bright white light pops up and when u take a look for half a second the person gets killed and u fucking miss it?

  • @RAWRxBlueDino1028 Okay.. what you justt saidd right now ... madee meee laugh untill i cryedd.... but you shouldd still take care of your busineeesss and stare at the screen... :P

  • @DrizzyDrake757 ya i know its just when ur in a full theater and ur forced to sit next to someone and the bright light pops up directly next to you. im completely fine if its someone far away.

  • @RAWRxBlueDino1028 Yeahh.. im sureee.. thatss a one in a million cahce.. butt if it happenss why dont you just move??

  • @DrizzyDrake757 like i said this happens in a full theater like when i saw avatar and paranormal activity. its hard enough to find one seat

  • @RAWRxBlueDino1028 this only happened to me once.. i saww the phone and it didnt bother me...

  • @DrizzyDrake757

'look at the movie screen not a fone' - kinda hard to do when the light from the phone is directly in my line of sight

    moron

  • I LOVE THIS!

  • She should have known better not to text, in any theatre!

  • lol, first she said she was using the phone as a flashlight, then she said she was texting. Which was it, chickie?

They did the right thing. Put your phone away when you watch a movie in public. You're not the only one there. Stop being so self centered.

Keep up the great work, Alamo Drafthouse!

  • Oh fuck....did she really just say "Magnited States of America"....

I want to go watch a movie at the Alamo Drafthouse~!!!

  • alamodraft house sounds like a gross place:)

  • @THEVIOLENCE1 also obviously they don't care about their customers because they made this video in response to a complaint, ive never heard or been to this"place" but poor customer service stems from poor business practices! this to me came off as arrogant, and uncaring about the customers needs i mean if you dont want people to use light from their cell phones then provide the light for them to me that seems like a simple fixand if ever i was kicked out my cell would be the least destractracting

  • @THEVIOLENCE1 No body gives a shiiiiit that's why you stay away from the Drafthouse and leave all the good seats for us.

  • @THEVIOLENCE1 Getting rid of a distraction for the benefit of the rest of the theatre is good business practice.

  • Dude, she acts like she's the freaking daughter of the President or something. My friend and I got kicked out for a month for throwing M&Ms in a theater her cousin worked at. Instead of leaving angry drunk voicemails, we laughed it off and rented the movie when it came out on DVD.

  • @colettabarayugaqib Did it work?

Please note this should be read with heavy sarcasm.

  • If you have the right in the "Magnited States of America" to use your cellphone in the theater, you also have the right to yell "Fire" in a crowded theater.

  • All theaters are ripoffs. You can't even smoke a cigarette or pause the movie to take a piss after drinking a $5 cup of flat soda.

  • @HitfulVids First of all, don't g to theaters - just watch whatever movie on the internet. Second, where in the hell is there a theater that makes you sit through your entire movie without so much as a bathroom break? Even the stricter theaters I've been to let me go so long as I had my movie ticket on me and didn't make tons of noise leaving and coming back!

  • @13BloodMoon13 First, I don't, and I do. Second, what theater lets you pause the movie to go to the restroom?

  • @HitfulVids Oh, THAT'S the problem. I'd tell you to not go to theaters, but since you're complaining about something you aren't involved in, I'm not really sure what the point is.

  • @13BloodMoon13 I think theaters are ripoffs, so I don't go to them. Don't feel bad, your suggestion not to go to them was perfectly logical. Are you just disappointed that I'm not a hypocrite? lol

  • @HitfulVids No, I'm more confused that you're complaining about theaters being ripoffs when you don't even go to them to begin with. :)

  • I might come to this theater because of this! There should never be a warning, if you get on your phone you should be kicked out!

  • @MrJskidmore1 - Thank you for your reply, clearing this up. It's is sad though that my freedom of expression was taken away from me.

  • exactly 2 months later and im still watching this

  • oh my god... she sounds like my ex .

  • @901Wes You have bad taste in women

  • so wait...first she was using her phone as a flashlight to find her f-ing seat, but then she admits to texting in all the other theaters in austin?

  • @BadSeedify Yeah, which is it? She should get her story straight!

  • @whoa22 Shut Up & Let Me Go - The Ting Tings

  • loI,I love Texas

  • I just went to this theater for the first time. This theater is awesome.

  • That is the greatest anti-texting video ever! So many people are uncontrollably self-absorbed that they lack the discipline to sit for a mere 2 hours without indulging their addiction to technology and themselves. Maybe receiving/sending a text makes them feel important, because no other accomplishments in their lives do? Who knows. Bottom line is--if you go to see a movie, watch the movie. Others paid for a ticket and YOU paid for a ticket. Don't waste the money that you or they paid.

  • my BUDDHA this is the worse spam ive ever seen on a youtube video...fuck its an invasion!

  • Hey, if you can guarantee that she won't be coming there, I might come to your theater.

Y'know. If I'm ever in Texas.

  • When I went to the movies last week, I turned the brightness of my mobile way low and turned off the sound. It couldn't possible have bugged anyone. And why did I do this? Because I was urgently waiting a message. If a theater lays down such iron rules regardless of how much it bothers others, I would well steer clear.

  • @MichaelMantion Ok then...What DOES Bother me more though is when the movie cuts out in the middle of the main battle. But please dont tell me to mind my own business, however I do see where you are coming from, so no argument from me here.

  • Bet you she's fun in the sack.

  • @Hailstormand i'm pretty sure i know, get butt fucked for a ticket, then go get some snacks then get buttfucked for that too, then go to a crowded ass theatre and check out a movie that's gonna be out in a month on dvd where i can watch it with my hand in my pants at my house, but i wish i was enlightened like you, you must be one of thoooooose people...

  • I absolutely loved your video

  • I don't understand. I'm I stupid by thinking that "Magnited" isn't a word? Or am I just missing something...

  • This makes me want to live in Austin. Alamo Drafthouse, you are awesome.

  • This makes me proud to live in the Magnited States of America!

  • This stupid twat obviously hails from the Me Generation - those under 30 who are so entitled and inconsiderate that they can't see how their actions affect other people. And then when you call them out on their shitty behavior, they start freaking out over being "disrespected", despite the fact they've done nothing to earn your respect. Quite the contrary. I applaud this theatre for not putting up with trashy people.

  • @violaine1 And I applaud you for not being so dimwitted as to generalize an entire group of people based off 1 person. Oh wait....

  • @TravisG06 I'm not generalizing an entire decade. I'm defining the term I used and counting this girl as a part of that generation. I see where you're coming from, but I'm not playing the "generation gap card". Re-read my original comment with that in mind and you'll see I'm only attacking the twat in question, not everyone under 30. You're interpreting it wrong. :)

  • She had a lot of conflicting evidence in her argument...plus she can't speak worth S@!# =P

  • What I think I loved most, besides the marketing factor which cracked me up; was that she first claims she was using it as a flashlight to get to her seat (WOW it's dark in a theatre!?!!?) but then she mentioned it was on silent...so....obviously she was texting in there too. Oh and her mispronunciation of words lol.

  • Don't feed the trolls.

  • ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE: YOU ROCK! I WISH I COULD THROW PEOPLE OUT OF THEATERS ALL THE TIME. HOW AWESOME ARE YOU?

  • how many beers did she have at the Draft house when she left the message, by the way you need some rap music during the voice mail.

  • Err yea..I think I'll just continue fucking over fascist businesses and the rest of the movie 'industry' by pirating all my entertainment. But hey, if posting videos like this makes your little dicks feel bigger then more power to you.

  • @g3ftw and you're the other kind of crap we hate in theaters. little pecker heads trying to film the screen to upload and pirate online

  • @weldy29 u do not know me at all wendy so u should really take the time to analyze things before you just abruptly slap label's on someone you stupid cuntwhore!

  • @weldy29 oh i would! it wouldnt be the first time! somehow i thing u got the wrong idea as i am not the kind of person who arbitrarily starts shit! if you're using your phone as a flashlight to see thru the dark theater, i totally understand tht! now if ur talking or texting during a movie, then yes she deserved to b kicked out! and if they tried to kick me out for using my phone as a flashlight, ur fuckin right im gonna raise 7 layers of hell about it!

  • If you guys could clean up the bullshit spam in your comment sections like you clean out the morons on their cell phones from your theaters, that would be a neat trick.

  • I kinda understand her being upset. Did you actually hear any complaints from other customers about her mobile usage? And if you are so concerned about other spectators' comfort, why don't you stop selling food and drink as well, because I can assure you that the sounds of people chewing, gulping their soda and getting the most of their bags of chips are far more annoying than any light disturbance. I just don't get it.

  • @swiinka People complained. Three times. And there are no bags of chips.

  • @MrKickyourbutt really? so that cinema doesn't sell snacks and drinks for the viewers? interesting

  • @swiinka I said there are no bags of chips. I have never been to a theater with bags of chips, and this one certainly doesn't have them.

  • @swiinka Oh they let you know the expectations quite clearly.

Have you ever been near someone at the movies on a phone? The vibrate sound is worse, and vibrates your chair, the the one next to you too. If you can't pry a phone out of your hand for 2 hours, you have bigger issues

  • @pghcraig I don't know about you, but when I am at the movies, I pay attention to the movie, not to what other people are up to. They might have issues with phone addiction, or maybe someone who wants to contact them doesn't know that they are in a theater right now. I don't care.

  • Ahhh Austin. She's from Texas. This vid makes perfect sense.

  • Typical white American bitch. Bomb us to give salvation.

  • "MAGNITED STATES OF AMERICA"

    ahh i can't stop laughing!!

  • Props to the Alamo Drafthouse for doing this. It's really an unfortunate trend in theaters across the country. The light is extremely distracting to those who want to pay attention. BTW, what's the name of the song that's played at the end of the video?

  • @woah22 That's "Shut Up and Let Me Go" by the Ting Tings.

  • @woah22 The Ting Tings - Shut Up and Let Me Go

  • @woah22 Shut up and let me go by the ting tings

  • @woah22 It sounds like Shut Up and Let me Go by the Ting Tings?

  • @woah22 Wasn't sure if anyone had replied regarding the name of the song. It's "Shut Up And Let Me Go" by the Ting Tings (I think.) :)

  • Comment removed

  • Shutup and let me go by the Ting Tings :)

  • @woah22 "shut up & let me go" by the ting tings.

  • She says she was using her phone to fid her seat & then shes like "I didnt know you couldnt text in a theater!" woow xD FAIL

  • "A regular theater where people are polite". Wow... she has a warped sense of manners.
