Finally someone with a steady rythum, most people plays this tempo way too fast at the beginning. Thank You so much for sharing your own unique methods and techniques.
The drums on this song is litterally impossible to reproduce live to mimick the record even if you're AVH!! the drums are divided into 2 parts and recorded separately with overdubs. Any drummer attempted to play this song live should be saluted.
hey dude! awesome job! i love this song and i think u did a great job with it. this is not an easy drum song to learn and my hat is off to you my friend. keep it up!
@mattc941 The problem with this album was the prod , its terrible , this was also the 4th single , if it was released first or second it cld have been a huge hit , some bass wld of made this song brilliant, but its been pretty much forgotten
hey buddy- good job. I bet you were wishing the microphone picked up the hi-hat more! That stuff always happens. For the non-drummers checking this out- the song is somewhat difficult to play as the hi-hat lift (left foot) goes 'against' the double right foot (bass drum). Also has elements of Jazz (left hand on snare espec.), rock and prog.
Thanks so much for your comments. It's nice to know someone can appreciate the level of skill involved in 4-way independence drumming. The sound is fair because it was the first time I used my Tascam Porta 3 to record with just one mic in front of the drumset & the stereo speakers live, to the same mic.
that was pretty cool...whish i could play drums but i know how to program a drum machine but thats not the same thing right? ha...hey can you play something from the "Balance" album?
good job!!!

I wonder why this song wasn't more popular then it was when it came out. A classic in my eyes.

It was, but most people rejected the idea of Sammy as the singer.
