  • good job!!!

  • Very good! I feels so good listening this song lol

  • 04:12 to the end... someone turned on the TV in front of the drumset? :P

  • very smooth, and a well behaved huskydog there too lol, nice work dude :-)

  • D u have like long hair wow..!! ur good..

  • @onlylildevil yeah, I was a long-haired maniac back then!

  • uhhh..anybody notice the dog?

  • @echev0725 What, on top of the amp? I think it looks more like a wolf to me.

  • Finally someone with a steady rythum, most people plays this tempo way too fast at the beginning. Thank You so much for sharing your own unique methods and techniques.

  • ummm....you forgot the hihat miss alex makes in the beginning.....lol....listen for it

  • actually the 3rd bell hit is missing....sorry, not hihat!

  • The drums on this song is litterally impossible to reproduce live to mimick the record even if you're AVH!! the drums are divided into 2 parts and recorded separately with overdubs. Any drummer attempted to play this song live should be saluted.

  • @paistekid Thanks for the salute! :-)

  • Awesome Brother!

  • Nice!

  • hey dude! awesome job! i love this song and i think u did a great job with it. this is not an easy drum song to learn and my hat is off to you my friend. keep it up!

  • I wonder why this song wasn't more popular then it was when it came out. A classic in my eyes.

  • It was, but most people rejected the idea of Sammy as the singer.

  • 1st time I heard this song back in the day, I was amazed. Great, great song. IMO.

  • Totally agree - my Favorite VH song.

  • @Youdontknowmearama absolutely !!! this is easily the best song of ou812 , and one of my all time fave vh with hagar .

  • @mattc941 The problem with this album was the prod , its terrible , this was also the 4th single , if it was released first or second it cld have been a huge hit , some bass wld of made this song brilliant, but its been pretty much forgotten

  • ya dude i love this song i wish they played it live. its the only song never played live

  • not too bad. u have delay im hearing on my laptop....but, solid percussion work. keep rockin on....

  • (continued) ... and i just noticed your 'doggy' -Just when I thought I was being original! (you'll see when I post my drumming vids). ;)

  • hey buddy- good job. I bet you were wishing the microphone picked up the hi-hat more! That stuff always happens. For the non-drummers checking this out- the song is somewhat difficult to play as the hi-hat lift (left foot) goes 'against' the double right foot (bass drum). Also has elements of Jazz (left hand on snare espec.), rock and prog.

  • Thanks so much for your comments. It's nice to know someone can appreciate the level of skill involved in 4-way independence drumming. The sound is fair because it was the first time I used my Tascam Porta 3 to record with just one mic in front of the drumset & the stereo speakers live, to the same mic.

  • The song title is "Feels So Good" from the album "OU812" released in 1988.

  • that was pretty cool...whish i could play drums but i know how to program a drum machine but thats not the same thing right? ha...hey can you play something from the "Balance" album?

  • I havent recorded anything from "Balance" yet. But when I do youl b the1st 2 know.
