the A380 only has inboard reverse thrust. And, the pilot had to slow as fast as he could, otherwise he would missed the only taxiway capable of carrying this aircraft.
"Only using inboard reverse thrust", that's normal ops for the A380 as far as I know. Not sure why but my guess is because it would be a FOD hazard for the outboard engines to rev them up during reverse thrust since they are mounted relatively aft of the inboard engines. Or it's simply because two are enough and the weight savings. The A380 has a lot more wheels on the ground than other aircraft. It's got that many more sets of brakes working to stop the aircraft. They did a great crosswind L.
