  • Hey Greg what size are those slings? LOL You lookin to make a few trades?

  • @DawgcityClev They were about 3/4". I don't know the instar cause I didn't get them from newborn. I don't have tarantulas to trade. I have gotten rid of most of my collection to expand my feeder business. I have 11 tarantulas left in my personal collection. I am now wall to wall roaches (24 species) instead of tarantulas. Thanks for the opportunity though.

  • Awesome video Greg... I have a question... Will those uneaten roaches chew on Ts abdomen when Ts is moulting like crickets do..???

  • @ILOVETARANTULA I have read people say its possible. But from my personal experience, I have never had a problem leaving the roach in with the tarantula. If I know the tarantula is in pre-molt, I won't bother feeding. If I miss the sign, then a roach gets left in and to this day have never had a problem. Roaches are much better than crickets overall.

  • Hey wae can i buy tarantulas like yours and what kind of tarantula was the fist on you fed

  • Yes you can buy tarantulas like mine. The first feeding was the Brachypelma smithi. Those in the video are about 1.25" legspan.

    -Greg

  • what are the second ones your feedind

  • Chilobrachys andersonii (Burmese Brown)

  • Jeez Greg how many spiders do you own in total? The only kind of spider I would buy would be a spider Ball Python.lol.

  • I have 24 species and 200+ and growing. I like that "Spider Ball Python", LOL.

  • awesome do you keep them in with the OBT's too or do you mist them or what?

  • All my tarantulas are kept in separate containers. I feed my smaller ones like you saw in the video in a larger tub to keep any roaches from escaping. As you may have read elsewhere with misting, I don't mist any of my tarantulas. I keep water in there containers at all times or one side partially damp. This method has worked for me for awhile now.

  • At witch legspan are they juveniles?

  • Generally around 1.5" - 2" when they start showing there adult colors.

    -Greg

  • what do you use as water dishes?

  • Tattoo ink caps. I use these on all my slings till just before juvenile. Then they get upgrade to soda caps and 2 oz deli cups for larger sub adults. I use tuna cans for my adults. They all seem to work well for me.
