This boss is not hard. All you have to do is keep distance, have some accuracy to shoot the bulbs and use as much as possible, the flame thrower. And btw, this boss is the only one who can be finished off by an A.I. partner :)

@yopman411 if you mean the fight you can kill the normal one in one shot (two for Pro) by letting him take the canister near the furnace, taking him in, blowing the canister up and locking him in but this one can't be killed that way.

the easy way to kill that uroboros mkono is to get the rocket launcher in chapter 3-1 marsland and quit the game and save it and play again chapter 5-2..

1 shot of rocket only and it will die..

Damn this is the best video I have watched on youtube. I died over 30 times and in one battle I was fighting for 40 minutes. Don't use the flamethrower it is just a waste of time, only use the grenades and fire rounds.

You don't even have to expose his weak points if you use the RL. Rocket Launcher in RE4 and 5 is just an "I give up...skip boss" option.

Speaking of which, that's EXACTLY what my friend and I did. 10k for a launcher is nothing compared to all the ammo wasted on this absurd boss otherwise.

Just beat him on Proffesional, fight started, threw a incendary grenade which exposed those orange bulbs, took out my rocketlauncher and shot him(just aim for the main body) and he was instantly killed.

Simple Solution, use rocket launcher, doesnt matter which mode your playing this pretty much will kill most bosses on one hit, if you hit them just right.

i'm currently playing this fucking boss right now, i have no ammo in any of my guns. one spray can left and my fucking AI partner is running around doing nothing. i've been in this battle for well over 15 mins because i have to use the flamthrower over and over again. this is the worst boss battle ever, capcom i want u to know that the way u designed the movement of the characters makes it every difficult to fight/shoot. i hate this game at this point and it's 2am.

No way, brother. I now use the S&W M500--which is arguably the most powerful handgun in the game for me...fully upgraded, of course. I just have to get my partner to equip the flamethrower, and I'm set. Wesker was pretty tough a bastard to beat as well, but with the S&W, it was less frustrating the second time around.

After using all three red tanks and at least 45 Flame rounds, along with Sheva using the Flamethrower, I noticed that when it attacks there is an arm that protudes BEHIND it that appears to be holding and protecting an orange ball; as if its keeping it away from gunfire and flame. Having Sheva flame it, I was off to the side and was able to hit this orange ball and it immediately died...

The best way to kill him and fast it use abut 10 incendinary grenades and give sheva a machine gun (preferably and ak-74 as its has the highest firepower) and then throw grenades at the B.O.W and she'll shoot the bits where he's weakest. I killed him in about 2 mins. Either that or you can use the rocket launcher but the rocket launcher is 10,000 each and single use. Alothoug hI have completed the game like loads so I have sh!t loads of money but still I recommend the grenades

you don't even need to "buy" fire rounds!

you can just quit and save, and then continue ur game, and before u enter with the boss, just loot the four crates in that room and every time you'll get like 5 or 4 fire rounds and an incendiary grenade! withe another type of ammo, handgun and sniper mostly...!
