The doctor has no business giving "expert" opinion on the parents' reaction -- only if they actually said something that would indicate guilt. Not saying they're innocent, but he is not an expert on emotional reaction, no matter how many parents' he talked to. And the ME is the one who should give expert opinion on the cause of death and the possibility of how the injuries could be incurred.
some kids are so accident prone, i remeber my mam watching me and i drop this big edwardian dining chair on my foot.
I said to my mam that is was hurting and my mam was in the middle of her big weekly bake .so she said to waite untill my dad came home, by the time he came home all the blood vessels in my foot had broken coulnd't walk on it for four weeks. My point my mam is the best mam in the world is and always will be but accidents happen sometimes...
My husband was not very good at watching our active boy. He fell off a bed onto a radiator, fell out of his infant seat from a luggage cart onto a marble floor in Chicago's train station, and took his walker on a trip down the stairs (uncarpeted)- all before 2 yrs old, hitting his head each time! I was SO mad at him for not watching him closely!! But...even with another head hit from a bicycle accident at 10, he's now 24 and fine! Kids are very resilient-thank God!
@talitakoomi-some kids are just accident prone...one of my cousins is the same way. but that same cousin is also one of the luckies people that i know. she has won many contests on the radio where she lives and through her mothers work.
