Before Marilyn Monroe...their was the Silver Screen Starlette and Super Star; Actress, Writer and Director - big deal for a woman in the 1930's to have total control of everything to do with her image and persona,,,Mae West !! Rent all her movies from the 1930's all Wicked Good, fun and enjoyable to watch and she wrote most of the screen plays too! In this movie she did not have total control and so it was edited wrong, too much and just BAD and she was too old!! XO : )

OK, so the film is not "Gone With The Wind", but it is a fun romp and everyone in the film seems to be playing it for camp. Mae doesn't exactly look 30, but she could easily pass for her early 60s......20 years younger than she actually was!
